Daddy Bear (Montana Daddies Book 1)

Though this isn’t a typical story I would read, I did enjoy Bear & Ellie’s story. This story had a clear balance between when Ellie was a Little & when she was just Ellie. I appreciated that, knowing she had some choice in the way their relationship went. (I know that’s how it’s supposed to be, but isn’t always how an author writes it.) As long as she followed Bear’s rules of course! She has had a rough life & is in desperate need of some sort of direction. Headed from FL to MT, Ellie finds herself unconscious in a ditch. Bear is headed home in a snowstorm when he comes upon her car. Instinct tells him that she needs him to take care of her, so he does just that. Gradually their Daddy/Little relationship takes shape. I will be checking out the rest of the books in this series, in the hopes the author continues to offer the heroine choices.

5 stars for editing and writing. The author shouldn't get docked just because this isn't my favorite ride at the carnival.The other reviewers were right, this is a sweet, straightforward DD/lg book with a more "traditional" (?) presentation. The H is a big huge softie for his Little (hard to pinpoint age range, she insists she's not a baby but she uses a sippy cup). There is very little spice, intimate scenes are explicit but not overly detailed and there is no crossover between Little-time and smexy-time. In fact, this book seems to focus more on the spankings for-your-own-good rather than grown-up romance (although they do end up happily together in the end).Personally I prefer daddy kink rather than Little kink, so this book did nothing for me.

This was a sweet story. I would suggest this book to anyone interested in the Daddy Dom experience. It is light and endearing. I felt the book was well written and entertaining.

Ellie really needed a Daddy and Bear was perfect for her. I'm so glad all their issues were settled and together they found what they needed. Their story is a great start to Montana Daddies.

Ellie had never driven in the snow, but she had to make it to her great aunt’s house. The one that had been left to her. The one that was far away from her parents in Florida. The tree came out of no where! Stretched across the road. Instinctually, she braked hard and ended up sliding and crashing into it. The next thing she knew, she was waking up in a warm cabin with a large man watching her sleep. Bear had found her just in time. She needed to be looked after until the storm cleared and she could see a doctor. Who was responsible for keeping her safe? His DD instincts kicked in and her injuries brought out her little side. She agreed to let him be her DD while they were snowed in. But after that, she would continue to her aunt’s house to start her new independent life. But is that what she really wanted? I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It is different from what I normally read. I found it to be absolutely adorable! The writing is great, not too cheesy. Bear is so gentle and just what Ellie needs. It was refreshing, different, adorable. I don’t have anything negative to say about it. I did not want this book to end and will be reading the others in the series. 4/5 🌶️.

I’m not sure why I am attracted to these Dom daddy books. But this was the perfect combination of innocence and protectiveness without violence.

This is a sweet story and a quick read about a Daddy Dom and his Little. It has a happy ending.

As I’ve said in other reviews, I’ve never been a big fan of the Dd/lg trope. There’s nothing wrong with it, but it just was never my thing. But damn if I do t find myself reading more and more of these types of stories.This one was really sweet. There was the requisite spanking if the Little was bad or broke a rule. But there’s no diapers or pacifiers. Ellie has a horrible backstory. Awful parents so beware if that kind of stuff triggers you. Her relationship with Bear is sweet and he’s a good Daddy. This is the perfect book to read if you’re new to this genre/trope because it’s not too intense but still very sexy.

Nothing like a good forced proximity read. Add in a bit of dd/lg and you have the recipe for a good comfort read. Bear is the best gruff daddy Dom to Ellie's newly discovered little side.

Bear rescues a girl from a car accident in a snow storm, takes her back to his boss's cabin and the rest is history. This was nice and the romance was good. Surprisingly slow burn to the hea (but a bit too much emphasis on rules and spanking for me). Good introduction to the next book.

This was the first book by this author that I have read, it’s not my exact cup of tea but the plot was nice and to the point

Fantastic short read! Strong characters and plenty of sexy time. Looking forward to reading the next book set at Sanctuary.
