I was looking for replacement brushes that were affordable, offered a variety of types, and had wooden handles. My old brushes turned out to have pressed, painted cardboard handles that decomposed after being exposed to water for too long. Also, I also didn't want brushes with LONG wooden handles or ones where the bristles would come out easily. I researched options and read a lot of reviews (can you tell?) and chose these. I couldn't be more pleased. They hold just the right amount of water and paint, and clean up easily. I've used them for acrylic and water color paints. Great value for the money. In fact I bought two more sets as gifts.

This set of brushes is a remarkably good value for the price and provides a wonderful range of brush shapes and sizes.

Perfect for use on art jobs and crafts when you fear using your more costly brushes. These clean up well from paper sealants, and most art color media. Great quality for the price when a dependable but inexpensive brush fits the bill. I love using these with water-based permanent sealanrs and glues, as well as with glitter and other gritty stir-ins.

These brushes came in handy and had all the sizes required for my painting course. My professor was even impressed with how well the brushes are made. He liked how the bristles were soft enough to make the proper strokes yet stiff enough to aide in blending the paints.I recommend these brushes to anyone who is looking for good quality at an affordable price.

Amazing brushes for the price. I've used these only with watercolors so far, but I'm certain they'll do very well with acrylics as well. Nice and springy, keep their sharp point when wet. The smaller brushes are PERFECT for brush lettering and small details. And you cannot beat the price for the very decent quality. The handles are shorter than they look, but that's not really a problem. I will probably grab more of these once I've worn down my current set.

I find these brushes to be great for watercolors. The pack has a great variety of sizes and tips and have held up well through several paintings now. They absorb color really well and do not shed. These would be goodt for those just starting out or for a professional painter. Great buy as far as quality and price are concerned.

I was excited to get so many brushes for a great price and initially thought they were a great value. The brush heads are decent and I set to work using them right away. After less than a hour the paint/lamination on the handles began to flake off. This created several problems. The flaked off handle paint crumbles into tiny glitter which fell into the wet paint on my painting, causing multiple areas to have to be repainted to fix the issue. The handle also flaked into my palette ruining my paints in use. I regret buying these brushes. The texture underneath the paint is coarse and dry and not as comfortable. Be warned.

The jury is still out on this. I may update later. I got these for watercolor. I am new to it. It holds the water well, but what I am noticing is that some of the brushes are not cut really well at the tip. There is one or two little bristles that stick out and make the watercoloring less accurate. It is a comprehensive set of inexpensive brushes and I bought it because I wanted to learn what each brush can accomplish with watercolor paint.Except for the rather uneven tip on the round brushes I have been satisfied with them so far.Will update after I give them a better trial.
