You did that yourself? No way!!
I am absolutely terrible at doing my own nails. Polish generally ends up all over my skin and they end up clumpy and mess. I like my nails to look nice though so i leave it to the pros. Unfortunately, I haven’t been to a nail salon since before quarantine, when I was going every 2 weeks. I honestly wish I thought to buy this sooner because it turned out to be so easy to use and I love the finished product. I think I was worried my nails would look like a 2 year old tried to do them by attempting to use dipping powder on my own. I was (luckily) wrong. If I can do my nails and make them look like I went to a salon, you can too. This kit includes everything you need to do your nails. I purchased this one specifically due to the color choices. The color I decided to try first was #07 - I did 2 coats to keep it a lighter, french pink. I’m looking forward to trying the other colors too.Tips for use:- it’s important to start with clean and smooth nails, use a buffer (220/280)- for more natural look, don’t dip more than 2x. More you dip, thicker the nails get. If you own a nail drill, you can use that to reduce thickness.- be sure to dust off excess powder- activator looks like it’s dry but it’s not. It’s just not a polish. Almost water like.- lightly buff nails until smooth before applying top coat (180 buffer)- I don’t love how shiny the top coat made my nails so I actually used a 1000/4000 shiner to remove shine and re-shine for a more natural, glass-like look.Suggestions for improvement:- containers are tiny. I have small hands so not a big issue for me but I can see it being difficult for others.- brush is too big and excess powder goes everywhere. I would’ve preferred a skinnier fluffy brush for more precision.- base coat brush keeps getting stuck in the bottle. Luckily it pops off easily and you can attach back to cap by twisting it on.

Misleading but Enjoyed It!
I used to get my nails done all the time growing up! 16 years old to my early 20's. After my cuticles being cut many times with drills in the salon, I got anxious even going in to get my nails done. I decided to start doing my own nails at home. So I began to love Kiss press on and impress manicure nails but I found that I got fungus a lot with those. Fast forward....I started going back to the salon for gel nails but that got pricey. Then I heard about dip powders. On Prime Day I purchased this set due to the reviews and high ratings! This was my first time doing dip nails at home and on myself. I think I did great!!! Im happy with the outcome. I rated this 3 stars only due to the company being misleading about the "Free Gift!" But my nails feel strong and look pretty good!! I feel like they will outlast my gel manicures from the salon. The set comes with almost everything! They could add a buffer and better instructions! They could also add something to take these off like that company Nail Boo! Coosery also needs better colors!! Be careful to dip your nails right after base coat one by one. Also do not powder your nails more than 3x otherwise they will be super thick! I recommend an electric nail file and buffer to make things go faster and smooth down the thickness!! This product is also very strong. Made my eyes water a bit so careful with that. If your a beginner like me, go for it! You'll love it!!

Good for price
You get a decent amount of product for the price. However if you are a beginning to powder dip I would suggest researching. It isn’t as easy as it looks. I liked that it came with multiple colors. I did notice that some of the colors weren’t as bright and pigmented, so I had to do multiple layers. But it does build up fast so you could end up with thick chunky nails if you’re not careful. After using these and gel X I do prefer gel X, it’s an easier process

Amazing!
Great quality for a great price! It’s super thick with just 2 layers. I would recommend doing thin layers for the base coats to avoid clumpiness. I am a nail biter so this is great to prevent me from biting and let my nails grow out. It comes with pretty large bottles of polish and the top coat is great! It doesn't show up super clear and shiny but it’s still good. Update: it is super shiny (looks just like nail salon) when you apply 2 coats like the directions say. The dipping containers are a decent size for short to medium length nails. For long nails, I would recommend buying a little tray to spread the powder into. Also, you may need a nice buffering tool (I found an electric acrylic tool off of “wish” for like $5 a few months ago but it takes a long time to come in). I also love how quickly it dries making the process of doing my nails even faster than normal polish. Dip is a healthier option compared to acrylic and gel and you can’t beat this price and quality combined.

Easy, Quick & Great for Beginners
First time buying one of these at-home nail dip kits, and I can honestly say it's a pretty good product for the price. I've done my nails with this kit about 3 times now, and I would say there's a few things to keep in mind to ensure the best outcome.1. Take your time - if you rush through the process, even with the first base coat, you're setting yourself up for more work and clean-up at the end (i.e. filing, smoothing, buffing, etc.)2. Even coats - make sure each coat, especially the first base coat, gets distributed thinly and evenly across your whole nail. Be weary about painting too far out on the side edges of your nails, and make sure to file/buff on the tops/surfaces of your nails to get a smooth finish!3. Follow the directions, and then some - the instructions that come with the kit itself need to be followed in that order, of course. Although, I would suggest maybe even doing 3 thin coats to achieve longer lasting results (2 coats are fairly sufficient but only last about a week or so). Also, applying 2 coats of the #3 will help you get shinier nails at the end :)Definitely not bad at all for a starter kit and would recommend for sure!
