Pricey for four batteries at a time but incredibly good
Seriously, this battery charger has rejuvenated batteries that are 20 years old and given them so much more capacity than they’ve had for years. For batteries that are a year or two old it has brought them back to their full capacity - I’m now starting to worry about all the batteries that I have sent to be recycled which would’ve been perfectly good - had I had this before. It’s not entirely intuitive, but if you do read the instructions it helps. It will charge two batteries incredibly quickly, three not so quickly and four a bit slower - however, even the slow is pretty quick. Set the battery charger to ‘test ‘ and it does take a very long time - like overnight - but in the morning you have brand-new batteries!! The USB out is useful I guess, screen is bright and does dim a little, but it’s still pretty bright! It’s well-made, hopefully will last for a long time like my previous Ansmann multi charger. I haven’t used it enough to to test longevity so hopefully it will give me years of service. The only slight bug bear for me was that the adapter that comes on the end of the plug is simply enormous, I’m tempted to cut the plug off and just put a standard UK plug on the end.

Brilliant charger.
While relatively expensive, this charger certainly delivers excellent performance. It takes many sizes of battery, from 1.2 volt AA, D and C cells up to 3.7 volt types. Upon completion of charge the display lets you know exactly how much charge the battery has taken, in mAh. It's a great way to know how well your batteries are going to perform. I have used it for Amazon 'Basics' D cells with a 10Ah capacity. On full charge at 2000mAh, these read between 10300mAh and 10600mAh charge after a full charge. The default charging capacity is 500mAh, but you can decrease the charge time by selecting a faster current flow, 1000mAh, 1500mAh and 2000mAh respectively. One thing to note is that it will only accept 3 D cells, due to the diameter of these batteries - I charge my D cells 2 at a time. For such a professional bit of kit it seems strange to me that the instruction manual states it is only intended for domestic use! That aside, this is by far and away the best, most intelligent charger I have ever purchased. It's all down to the old adage 'you get what you pay for!'

Great product, from a good manufacturer
Bought this to replace my previous Ansmann charger that finally stopped working after many years of regular use. This was a bit more complicated to use, but I soon got the hang of it and it's done a great job so far. My previous one only charged AA abd AAA batteries, whereas this one also does the larger 18650 batteries I use in a torch, so I lose one charger off the work surface and gain a plug socket. Only slight issue is, after using the larger battery, the spring clip didn't go back to it's rest position, without help, but it's a mild problem, that doesn't affect the use of the charger!

Very flexible charger that is able to charge different rechargeable battery types
Used this to test and regenerate some of my rechargeable batteries that had deteriorated over time.

Badly Designed Battery Bays
Bought this and tried to recharge 4 x AA ANSMANN Batteries. The batteries could still be moved side to side when charging. Very poor fit and potentially dangerous design flaw! This product should be re-called! I have returned to Amazon for a refund!

Who designed this?
The most stupidest product I have ever come across, the battery recesses are too shallow making it very difficult for the batteries to make contact, "stay in contact" with the charging terminals, they keep on shooting out.I sent it back quick sharp, whoever made this product must work in a circus, must be a clown to make such a bad mistake.Don't manufactures do any testing on products anymore before putting them on sale?... Idiots.

Also sinnlos. Laden kann auch jedes andere Gerät. Dafür muss man keine 80 Euro ausgeben
