Really good DBT workbook
This is the book I recommend most often to clients and friends who want to learn DBT skills but can't get into a DBT group. Olivo has a 6 week program at the end of her book leading a person through how to practice the skills she teaches in the book so that the skills start to become automatic. Excellent!

Better than I even thought it was going to be
I felt confident that I would get something out of this book. I did not realize that it would feel like it was written specifically about things I've faced and need help with. Honestly a great book for anyone to read. You live in your mind all day every day and it is beneficial for anyone to learn more about it.

Wise Mind Living - A MUST Read!
After experiencing a form of social disorder, Dr. Olivo’s tips in Wise Mind Living helped me identify the emotions that I was feeling and how to calm myself from feeling nervous and overwhelmed. At first, I didn’t make the connection between my emotions and my stress/anxiety until I read this book and it became clear. Wise Mind Living teaches that you have the power to control your emotions - whether you are feeling anxiety or stress. Now that I’ve read Wise Mind Living, it seems obvious – and also explains why I was “stuck” in certain areas of my life. It’s an easy read with good advice that you can implement without going to a therapist. I also liked how she incorporates mindfulness into the program and gives helpful tips on starting a meditation program. Wise Mind Living should be in everyone’s emotional well-being toolbox. I highly recommend this book!

Absolutly the best “self-help” book I have ever read.
Absolutly the best “self-help” book I have ever read. Supplements therapy or lays path for self improvement. This book lays out a very practical and effective approach to processing emotion and phycological principals that tend to be subjective and difficult for therapists to teach patients, though they constantly may refer to them.

Dr Erin not only impact my live, Dr Erin changed my whole way of thinking before I speak or act.This is a must implementing manual for all. Even children will be able to follow Dr Erin's advice. LOVE THIS BOOK

Interesting book to read
The writer repeats initial introduction of her book over and over which seems unnecessary to me. Other than it is an interesting read to gain some perspective about your emotions.
