Hivox Stop Snoring Device

I used this device for a couple months or so and it seemed to reduce my snoring somewhat. I stopped using it because I couldn't get any replacement electrodes for it. At least none at a reasonable price.A couple months go by and my wife is complaining about my snoring again, so I got online again to try to track down the pads. I can get a 3 pack for $15 plus $5 shipping (approx) or I can pay $25 and get a whole new device, which comes with 3 electrode sets in it. Since it's plastic anyway, I figure it'll break soon enough, so I ordered the whole thing again to give me the electrodes and a backup device. Hopefully someone will realize this is ridiculous and start offering the electrodes at a decent price before I run out again.

concept is that after 4 noises of a certain amount it emits an electric stimulation that the person can use as a cue to let them know they are snoring. if you know your snoring you can work on stopping. the problem is that the mind has been able to tune it out to a point that many people don't even think they do in fact snore... since this bring it back to the realm of attention you can work in stopping to snore.I really like the dial that adjusts the stimulation... all the way from a light tingle to a very noticeable spasm I suggest the conducting jell because the shocks are much more gentle.Don't expect this to work instantly. it is a training device. it takes time to be aware and remove snoring.

I bought this product thinking it would help my snoring problem and preventing my gf from waking up in the middle of the night to put on ear plugs. However, just after 1 day of using this product, I figured this product was very uncomfortable to use let alone work at all. For one, you would have to sleep with no covers over yourself - this means it is cold at night and you want to cover your whole body (excluding your head) this device would not work because the covers would somehow "filter" your snoring making it useless. With this being said, the only position you can sleep is flat on your back, you would not be able to sleep sideways unless your hand is positioned ackwardly so that the device mic is free from any obstruction. The instructions that came with it also says that it recommends that there shouldn't be any noises from a/c, heaters, etc. because it will throw off the device. To sum this up, for this to work you would have to sleep completely flat, can't move around otherwise theres a possibility you're obstructing the device mic, and when you sleep it has to be completely quiet (free from external noises other than your snore). I returned this product because basically it's hard to make this product work.

I have bought this in the past and was quite happy with the results, but it seems that the manufacturing has changed. The first clue was that the instruction booklet was so poorly translated that it was comical to read. The device quality is not what it has been in the past. The most important thing of all is that it does not seem to detect snoring any longer. When it stopped working, I thought maybe it had dropped on the floor, so i ordered another one. I had the same results that it wont detect snoring. Now there is also a red indicator light on the wrist side of the device that wears out batteries quicker. I am not happy with this.

Having had a real Snore Stopper that worked - for a few months, I was thrilled to find the same thing for 1/3 the price. Well, wich I would have spent the money on a "real" Rolex instead. This thing is total junk. It will shock you if you mash the test button long enough, assuming you can get the undersized (as compared the real thing) volume control to work. However, it has not ability to detect sound. So, totally worthless for the intended use.I should have realized when it took 4 weeks to arrive it wasn't coming from the normal factory.Oh yeah, the instruction book is in 5 languages, none of them English. Go figure.

My wife can finally sleep through the night. The snore stopper wakes me up before I wake her up. I battle the snore stopper some nights, trying to find the right position. Most nights I seem to just sleep through the night without an issue. It's clearly changed some of my sleeping behaviors so that I sleep much better and so does my wife. Good job all around.As for finding the electrode pads, you can find them on 2shopper.com. It's an unimpressive web site with a pretty poor checkout process, but they do have packs of 3 for 7.99. I've gone through 1 pack in a month, so I figure it's not all that expensive.I did try the electrode Gel, but it seemed to have shorted out my Snore Stopper and I ended up purchasing a new one. It wasn't worth it (especially the nights I had to go without the Snore Stopper).

I have just started using the product and it seems working. but how do i buy those jelly electrode stickers? its been two weeks and one set is already over!

The device can really detect loud sound, then It shocks me for around 4 sceconds.At the first time, I hope it can help me stop my snore. but no good for me at all.It is a good sound detector, but not snore only, At any bigger sound , It start to work.
