Very Small/Hard to Secure
This is a very small carrier but it does fit on the console of my Jeep Wrangler. The main problem I have with it is the adjustment around the console. The lid of my console lifts up and when I attach the safety strap it does not tighten up enough to snug it to the console. Hence, the seat still slides back. Also, the way the buckle is, it sits right at the area my console closes, therefore not allowing my console to snap shut. Because of this. I am not able to actually "secure" it to my console. My 5.5 lb chi X seems to like it but she barely has room to lie down in it. Heading on a trip in a couple of days so I will see how it goes.Update.... She seems to like it. She is 14" long from neck to talk and 9" high at the shoulders if that helps with visual sizing

So much use!!
I held off for years buying this because of the price and some other reviews, but finally went ahead and made the purchase about 6 months ago and am SO glad I did!I wish it mentioned in the description that there are no hard bits on the bed (only the leash clip) so it's soft against the car. I thought from the description and after measuring that this might only fit in my truck, but since it is just a high density rectangle foam bed, I am able to squish it down a couple inches to fit on the center console of my midsize SUV... this also keeps it from not slipping. The large is a little bulky because of this, but not enough to get in the way of my driving & it keeps my pup in a comfortable place during trips so he isn't a constant distraction trying to stretch out to see out the car windows. My dog is a 12lb deer chihuahua, and is able to either sprawl a little in the bed, or curl up in the corner of it. It's the perfect size for him. This bed has already gotten SO much use and seems to be a very good quality foam so it will probably last for many years to come. So happy I don't have to work about the console getting scratched anymore or my dog falling all over when I drive through mountain roads 😃 It really also gives my dog a place to feel secure and see the windows, (without even being bucked in), which makes it a safer drive for everyone.

Dandi loves it and so do I!
I love this car seat for my Dandi girl, and feel so much better knowing that she's safe in case of an accident! It's really nice quality, very sturdy yet nicely padded and was easy to install. Dandelion seems to love it. She is a 5 lb Chihuahua and is 12 inches long, and fits perfect, but I think if she were any longer it would be a little tight, if you are curious about the size.

My 4. 2 pound Yorkie loves this seat. ...
My 4.2 pound Yorkie loves this seat. He always got carsick in his other seat that attached around the headrest. We have had this one for about a month now and he has yet to be sick in it. He feels comfort being closer to me and always facing forward.

Perfect for my little yorkie
So glad to have this! Great quality, doesn't slide, and attached as directed. Beckham loved being close to me and I love that he is safe, secure, and clipped in yet close enough to get random smooches :) highly recommend!

Cookie loves it!
When my youngest was ten pounds, this was just right. At seventeen pounds, she can squish into it but it is obvious it is too small. This being said, she still loves it and won't ride anywhere else. You will need a wide console to accommodate this seat. Inside pad and cover are removable and washable (although removing the cover means wrestling with the straps that secure it - make sure you remember how you took it apart!)

Great for my Pomeranian
This works great for my Pomeranian. He's currently 6 lbs. however a dog over if he gets much longer it's not going to fit well. He just puts his paws out of the seat and seems to work wonderful. For me it's perfect! He used to climb up by my neck when driving. We are both much safer now!If you're wondering if a large will fit, not unless you have a truck. It's huge and there was no way it would fit in my car so I sent in back and got the small.

Comfortable and secure, but flimsy
This seat has a few things going for it, but just as many working against it.Pros: This seat uses two straps that drop behind the center console, wrap around the driver and passenger seat hardware and buckle together. You can then tighten the straps and the seat is VERY secure. In front, it uses a single strap that wraps under the center console lid and buckles and tightens. Once it's snug, this seat stays in place really well... more on this later. The strap that holds the dog's harness is adjustable, so depending on your dog's harness, you shouldn't have any issues adjusting this to be snug. Finally, the foam and fabric/fur they use feels very much like a memory foam and I have no doubts to the comfort of our pup.Cons: It's really difficult to tighten the front strap that holds the seat onto the center console lid.Second, it would be nice if there was a "dip" in the front of this seat that a dog could rest its head in. Our other car seat (standard style that seats up on a passenger seat using the seat belt) has a nice dip in the front so the dog can lay down more comfortably and it seems like a better design. Most importantly, though, the comfortable foam that I mentioned above is really flimsy. If this was just for the seat bottom, it wouldn't be an issue, but it's the same foam that makes up the sides of the car seat. When our dog "perched" on the side of the seat, it would collapse under his weight... a 5 lb yorkie.I think all in all, we're keeping this car seat. We bought it for our road trip that lasted a week and 1300 miles, and it worked well enough for that purpose. For trips around town, it takes up too much shoulder room, is too flimsy and too difficult to keep snugged up for us to want to use.

Very Well Built
I had purchased 4 others ones prior to finding this one. Save time and money and just purchase this one in the size you need. I have a 3lb Teacup Yorkie and it gives her room to turn around or stretch out for long trips. It sits high but low enough that she can still see out when sitting. The cushion is reversible and washable, solid sides and bottom. No directions on how to install had to figure out what works for us. Put straps around the headrests and the console and it is very secure it doesn't move at all and we can still open the console so no need to remove it all the time. We have a Tahoe and you still have a little bit of the side left to put your elbow on or you can put it on the carrier as that is comfortable as well. I purchased the large knowing it would be big but I am so glad I did she just loves it and so much room for her and long trips. I hope the pictures help you as well but if you have questions I would answer them as I am a certified purchaser and not paid/

Secure and comfortable
Absolutely love it! I hesitated because of the price but now having it and seeing how secure and comfortable for my dog is I’m glad I bought it.I drive a 2007 Ford Escape. My dog is 10lbs.The seat is very snug going in as the console is not as wide as the bed. However it fits very securely. The seat sticks out from the back by 2” but in no way does it interfere with passengers in the back.It is a bit pricey. There are cheaper ones. I paid the $100+ because I needed it desperately for a trip. If not I would’ve rather spent less.My dog loves it because (Don’t worry. She’s always buckled by her harness) no more balancing in the middle while driving or me sticking my arm in front of her coming to a stop so she doesn’t go forward.

Love it!
Love it! Our Havanese loves it. He’s 11 lbs. We bought a large. Our car is a Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. It fits snuggly between the seats. Had to prop it because console tilts down. Our pup sits well. Loves to be between us and look out the window. He can lie down but not stretch out. But would definitely recommend.

Perfect Booster for my nosey Chihuahua
I bought this item for my 6 lb chihuahua and she just loves it. Just enought space for her to either sit and enjoy the view or lay down and snooze. It has a clasp that attaches to her harness to keep her safe from sudden stops etc...It fits very well between the front seats of my nissan sentra and is the perfect size for the console which it is mounted on. Easy to install. It sits high enough for her to see what's going on outside of the car on our ride. When not in use, we just unclip the front buckle from the console and flip it backwards to rest in the centre of the back floor. Perfect. I would recommend this product for anyone who would like to give their arms a rest from propping up your chiweewee on car rides!!

Indie the Ewok reviews Snoozer
I’m so happy with this purchase. My Biewer Terrier, Indie, is about 4.5 lbs and fits perfectly. She always wanted to be in my lap before. Much safer and she loves the view. She is usually a little anxious in the car, but she felt safe enough to fall asleep. The only downside is that the straps are not sturdy and the stitching comes apart quite easily. We made it work though.

Console Pet Carrier
When I got this product it was a race between my two pups who would get to sit in it. The dog is elevated to see out while driving and can curl up to sleep on longer rides. So far, the foam is holding up to its use as foreleg rest.

This is absolutely PERFECT for my new teacup Yorkie
This is absolutely PERFECT for my new teacup Yorkie. I Love it & it keeps her safe all the time she's in the car with me.Amazon.ca is great & shipped exactly when they promised. The only problem I have is with the manufacturer as they have all the installation directions written without 'any' diagram ?? Itjust seems it would be much easier for consumer to see visual directions rather than written. That is definitely not Amazon's fault but 'O'Donnell Industries, Inc'Thank You Amazon for this great product.

A bit small
We were able to put it in my husbands 2014 mustang, very easily, although we had to put it in backwards because of the type of console in the car. I say it's a bit small but then again if it wasn't it wouldn't fit in between the front seats. Our puppy is able to sit up and see out the front window and also take a nap but I think once she reaches her full adult weight she may not be able to fit inside it anymore... time will tell.

Our dog loves her co pilot seat.
Our Chihuahua loves her co pilot seat. She's strapped in safe with a harness. Seat secures tightly to console and seats. A little tricky getting straps to go around car seat frame but can do it

Feels secure and safe.
It seemed comfy. It was very to secure. Unfortunately, my dog hates it. Front too high for his paws to rest on comfortably.

What I expected
I was disappointed that I needed to order the small seat for my Toyota Sienna Van. It fits my Yorkie puppy and looks like it would fit my 8lb Yorkie but definitely not both! I can still use the cup holders and doesn’t make the front seat area crowed at all.

A lot less anxious...
My puppy loves her new car seat. She is able to see everything and sits comfortably and safely beside me while I drive. We are both much happier now that she can be close to me while being safe.

Very Useful And Practicle
This product is very good for a small dog. Our dog loves it. He can sit and look out the window, or he can lay down and fall asleep in it. He is safe and secure inside and really loves getting into it when we get in the car.
