traded my folding saw for this, its lighter, and takes very little space to allow for more important items to be carried. the greatest benefit I've had with this saw is the ability to cut larger diameter logs unlike the folding saw that is limited to the length of its 7in blade.

This "manual" chainsaw is a dream. I used it instead of a hand saw to quickly cut firewood. I bought it for my bug out bag, but I can see myself using it regularly for light tree trimming in the backyard. Get one
