Unbelievable Customer Service
We had a minor issue (my fault, bad measuring on my part) and had to contact the seller. One word: AWESOME! In an age where everything is done at arm's-length and fairly anonymously, Clay was more than helpful, informative and personable. We even had time to chat about sailing in general; it was just so refreshing to talk to a real, live person who knew what he was doing and was genuinely interested in our problem. He truly cared about us being happy with the product and wanted to do whatever it took to make us satisfied. We wish we could give more than 5 stars. Really. As far as the product, it is extremely well made and well designed. It works exactly as advertised. It has solved a boarding problem that we've had for several years. Great product and well worth the money. Thanks SailStep!

Excellent Product and Superb Customer Service
I ordered this for my 1990 Hunter Passage 42. Before placing the order I had emailed SailStep asking about fit for my boat as instructed on the SailStep website. They contacted me promptly. Though I had sent them a drawing of my toe rail with my initial request, I hadn't realized they'd needed to know the lip size the toe rail sits on. The anticipated, modified-foot product came quickly after ordered. However, the feet where still slightly short causing the step to not sit level. Evidently, the P-42 toe rail and lip is slightly different from the Legend series Hunters. I emailed a picture and explanation. They shipped me a further foot modification and now the product fits well. The design, quality of construction and quality of raw materials are phenomenal! Even the storage bag is high quality, heavy weight material. The step height is excellent for the P-42.

Great product and great customer service
This is a great product and they stand behind it with great service. Originally, my SailStep didn't fit perfectly to my Hunter Legend 37. I went back to the website a few months later to see if they had any adapters and I realized that I missed their note that I should have identified that I needed this for a Hunter because longer screws for the rubber bumpers were needed for a perfect fit. I emailed them and they responded very quickly. They immediately sent the screws I needed and now the step fits great. This is a rock solid product that is well designed and easily stowed.

Great product - amazingly well constructed
This was a great purchase and the product is really well made. We have a 30ft older mid-80's Bianca and she's got a big beam and I was concerned this might not fit well, but straight of the box is a perfect fit and helps a lot with docking. Product is exceptionally well-welded and made - really great experience.

Very high quality product. Versions also versions available for teak and fiberglass rails - ask the seller
I bought a SailStep for a 2008 Beneteau 40 - the version made specifically for teak rails, which differs from the version pictured. The upper two bumpers needed to be trimmed down by 1/2" to make the fit with my hull perfect, but with that small adjustment made, I love these steps. They are extremely high quality, fit perfectly, and cannot mar the boat. This is a VERY high quality product.
