The media could not be loaded.  So, I was hesitant to purchase this paddle based on some of the reviews... Especially about the paddle not floating.I just received it today and a pretty brilliant idea (IMHO) popped in my head.I use Dollar Store pool noodles to keep my tall knee-high boots standing upright. I sacrificed a boot (who is now falling over and looking very sad) and low and behold, the noodle fits perfectly around the two paddle pieces!For the piece that has the bracket, I just mad a small cut down the middle since it won't slide over the bracket. I grabbed one of my silicone ties (perfect for attaching all sorts of stuff to your SUP, BTW) to secure it in place.I haven't used the paddle yet, but I'm taking it on a camping trip this weekend and will update how it goes.As far as weight goes, for the standup configuration, it's the same as the paddle that came with my Serene Life inflatable board - about 2.2 lbs. Saw some reviews saying it was heavy, but based on what I've been using, it's the same .I will say that I'm not super impressed with the quality out of the box. It does seem a little cheaply made. That being said, I'm a beginner paddleboarder with an inflatable board, and I'm not planning on entering any competitions soon (just trying to keep up with my boyfriend). I was trying to find something inexpensive with decent reviews, and it seemed to fit the bill.Is my hack pretty?Nope.Will people look at me funny?Probably.Was it a super cheap fix to keep my paddle off the bottom of the lake?HECK YES!🙌

It wasn’t as well made as I thought it would. One of the clasps wouldn’t work correctly and I had to use a pair of pliers to tighten it up a bit. I was close to sending it back when finally it tightened and worked

Got this for granddaughter for her birthday. She loves it.

Not the highest performance paddle that money can buy, BUT! The variety of ways this allows you to paddle! WOW! To have a backup paddle on my board, and to allow me to switch between a shorter length for when I am sitting or kneeling, a longer length when I am standing, AND a kayak style paddle experience! That makes this highly recommended by me! Been using it extensively for a year, and have had no problems so far.

The I tried to tighten the clamp down after switch to double headed kayak configuration. Unlike my other paddles it was hard to tighten, it broke and now I can’t use that clamp. Other than that the paddle would be great.

I like to paddle...this paddle does not like to be paddled hard. I returned it.

Works as intended, decently light, actually seems a bit better quality then the other ones I purchased off of amazon from another seller.

Love this paddle for the money. Can be used for standing or sitting on paddleboard (ima sitter). Nice water pull for a flat paddle and i think i like it more than the angled ive bought in the past. Its also adjustable and i like the way they attach to one another, so i dont have to use my arthritic thumbs vs the click in holes. Suggest buying grip pads if using in a hotter climate cuz it's way to warm, which I'll be buying soon. There wasnt water rings that usuallycame wirh other paddles ive ordered, but no matter, water wasnt splashing in my face.

Only reason it has 4 stars is because one of the ends doesn't hold the handle in as well as the other side. I can literally pull out the sup handle and adjust it without opening the "lock". Maybe that is something I can adjust? Anyways, it works great. It does spray/drip water and if using for a long time could definitely get blisters on your hands. Good value for the money!

Where the shafts join is right where I hold the paddle .. makes it a bit uncomfortable… not a deal breaker but didn’t anticipate this when choosing paddle.. if I upgrade this will be something I look to change.. longer would have been a bit nicer also… again not a deal breaker…
