Best money I ever spent
Best money I ever spent! I had a 2000 VW Jetta and it had a lot of issues. The check engine light was on so I decided to invest in a code reader. When I saw the prices at my local auto parts stores I was not happy... then I checked Amazon and saw this little gem. While the description says it works for VW and Audi cars, it has worked on my sister's Honda and another sister's Toyota, and my mother's Toyota. I now have a 2006 Jetta and it is still saving me money! It has code readers for VW/Audi systems AND the general OBDII reader for most other vehicles.If you are looking for a reader to diagnose problems, and have the basic OBDII jack in your vehicle... SAVE some money and get this reader.

Works great on my 2004 vw touareg!!
The maxscan vag405 is the best bang for your buck. I plugged it in and it gave me all the codes to the things that were giving me problems. Was very happy it read abs codes and reset them. The scanners at the parts stores around here want 3x as much for what I paid. Great buy.
