It was probably sitting on a shelf for a long time! Tasted bitter, stale. I am not shopping from that store again. I am throwing away the whole bag. Don’t waste your money.

HADN'T HAD ANY OF THESE IN YEARS AND WAS GLAD TO SEE THEM AVAILABLE. USUALLY THEY COME SALTED OR CHOCOLATED AND THAT IS NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ONE. I THINK THEY MAY HAVE GOTTEN A BIT COLD IN THE DELIVERY PROCESS AS THE FLAVOR WAS A LITTLE WEAK--STILL GOOD THOUGH. DEHYDRATED THEM FOR ABOUT 4 HOURS AND THEY WERE FINE AND CRUNCHY. NEXT TIME I'LL ORDER WHEN THE WEATHER IS NOT SO COLD. DELIVERY OUT HERE IS OFTEN 'DELAYED' FOR SOME REASON AND THAT MEANS THE ITEM MAY HAVE SAT IN A TRUCK OR UNHEATED AREA. NOT A TRACE OF A SHELL--GOOD WORK!

Update: They went stale within 1 month of buying them.These hazelnuts are okay. I bought them because hazelnuts at my local Whole Foods have first disappeared, and then reappeared in a stale rancid form form in tiny containers. These Amazon nuts are not the freshest, but they are not stale, which gets an okay grade from me.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The package came airtight. I opened and spread them on table to check each one.. not one looked bad. They taste fresh. The nuts are delicious. I will be buying more!! Yum!

These nuts taste amazing. The best Hazelnuts I have had in a long time and trust me I know nuts. This a grade A product and very tasty. Get you a bag or two. You'll be happy you did. I definitely am.

These are the only hazelnut I would buy to make my homemade hazelnut ice cream. They are very fresh and they stay fresh for a while as long as you keep them refrigerated. The flavor is great! They come in a vacuumed sealed bag.

I liked the hazelnuts, fresh… use them to bake .

Please note this is just 454 grams. I got confused that it would be more. A bit disappointed I paid that much for 450grams of non-organic hazelnuts.

Love these nuts but.... eating them with porridge this morning & to my surprise & shock a nut with it’s shell on caused a bit o a problem. Chewing obviously very crunchy.... scared to swallow as aware of problems digesting, I panicked & spat it out. I have MS & try to be careful eating every meal. Unfortunately I feel very nervous eating them now. I am going to have to study before putting in my mouth.I do enjoy nuts with my porridge but it has spoilt it somewhat.

These are very tasty indeed I've added them to alot of items I've already made, will have to see what else they sell 👍👍
