This hat is the best made hat of its kind. Harris tweed on the outside, and quilted cotton inside. Similar hats do not have the heft of this one. The tend to have polyester inside the interior. I suspect it'll endure through years of heavy use.

This is my 2nd sSterkowski and both shelby type. All I can say is if you wear a hat from Sterkowski and you don't feel happy , classy, confident, comfortable and completely satisfied you might want to have your head checked because they are completely fantastic and I really can't say much more than I can't wait to pick my next hat. I figure these are some of the nicest Gatsby caps available, if you like the style and fabric. This fitted cap can be perfect as long as you make sure you measure your own head correctly because U.S. sizing has no place here; especially, since these caps are coming directly from Poland. Caps made with care and fabric like these are not easy to come by here in the USA anymore. Ours is a throw away society. Not here...these caps are real new wool and in some cases hand woven Harris Tweed new wool. You just do not go down the street here in the states and find quality like these caps possess; let alone, hand made and woven old world fashion with the best of available fabrics. As a matter of fact, I bought 2 of these caps from the same Gatsby line I liked them so well. I obtained the rusty check and the blue melange Harris Tweed caps. I can hardly remember any quality clothing like this anymore since at the very least when I was a very young lad many, many years ago. Sterkowski's deserves your business if you like the styles of their caps and hats and if you don't mind waiting a bit of time in order to receive an old world fine quality hand made cap and/or hat. Nothing quite like these Harris Tweed caps I got anywhere near where I live and I doubt there will be any time soon! Try em'.....I bet you'd agree.

Ordered 2 of the dark blue check 58cm on August 19th 2019 and just got it this morning on August the 30th 2019... NOT bad considering its coming from Poland to Canada...To start off this hat is the right fit even though i prefer a little bit looser, my head is 58cm and a bit.My next order will be 59cm just to try the difference... Keeping in mind that the had might stretch a tad but honestly 58cm is still ok.The Quality of this hat is of exceptional craftsmenship that is made of 100% wool...The colours and check patterns will accent many styles and colours of clothing...Dont look any further if you want to look sharp both casual and formal not to mention you keep warm in the fall winter and early spring months.Mr Sterkowski i wanna thank you your family and the company for making such great hats since 1926...Keep up the great work will be ordering more hats real soon.
