Well made. Look nice. Grind well. Seem to be pretty adjustable. The only thing we don't really like are the covers. Kind of a pain to put off and on, and I'm sure it won't be too long before at least one of them gets lost.Update: After a couple of weeks of using these products, we found some cracks in the base of one of the grinders. Customer Service for MegaMetz was amazing! They responded to my email almost instantly, apologized, and sent out a replacement set the next morning. Would definitely recommend this company. I don't believe the grinders were faulty, I think one was damaged slightly in shipping, and I would purchase them again. When they arrived, we thought there was a small scratch on the bottom, but we now believe it was a small crack that expanded with use.

I have only one complaint about these: I could do without the MegaMetz logo darkly engraved into the tops of both grinders.. I understand a company's need to advertise, but I feel like it could be placed more subtly, maybe on the bottom, or inside the lid. The current placement is a bit tacky.There are two to a set. They a quite a bit larger than I had expected them to be, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing at all! They are very easy to fill, hold onto, and use. They have done their jobs very well so far. I am satisfied with the product and its price.

These are a little smaller than I expected from the picture, but small can also be good. They do look rather cute on my kitchen table. I use pink Himalayan rock salt and regular black peppercorns. They are much easier to open and refill than other similar products I have used before. Cleaning should be easy with the easy open access. I have used for both fine ground and chunky ground of both salt and pepper. The clear bottoms also makes it easy to know when to refill. I would definitely recommend to friends.

I carefully read all reviews and found there was a wide difference in satisfaction; however, enough customers liked them so i decided to take a chance. My main compliant is adjusting the size of the grind. It is not clear how to do it, so i had to experiment and "blindly" adjust. I may return them because the main reason i got them was for some specialty salt. i need to have it at a coarse grind and if i am not careful when i adjust them, it grinds into a power. Overall disappointed as no instructions came with them.

Just got these yesterday and I love them. They are very attractive and simple to fill and use. I was worried they might be too small but with the bowl type container they actually hold more than my taller grinder that finally bit the dust! I also love that the grinding mechanism is on the top so when they are sitting upright they don't leave pepper or salt all over the counter like the old one did. My old grinder had a very small opening to fill which usually led to chasing peppercorns across the counter!! But the openings on these are nice and wide. The metal covers are nice to keep the salt/pepper fresh in a room that tends to be very humid at times. I also like the fact that you can adjust the coarseness level as simple as turning a small knob left or right. The appearance of the item is quite nice... my husband says they look like little chefs!! And you can easily see when they need to be refilled. The item arrived quickly and was well packaged in bubble wrap to prevent breakage. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Overall a pretty good set especially for the money. I have had them for over a week now and they have worked well so far. The grind mechanism works and they are easy to adjust. My biggest concern is that the stainless steel is very thin over plastic so I am a little worried about the longevity of the set. The lids are the biggest disappointment they are stamped with "MegaMetz" and look very cheap the stamp even creased the lid slightly along the imprint.

These salt and pepper shakers were just a little bit bigger than I had imagined, but they're still very nice. They look very pretty, and they work well. I can see myself losing the tops to them if I have to keep taking them off to use them, but we shall see. They grind well, and adjusting the size of the grind couldn't be easier. I would probably buy a few more sets as wedding gifts or such. I do recommend them.

Wow, I haven't been in the mood to write a review in a while, but I had to stop what I was doing and write this one. When I first received this I remember thinking how pretty it was, as the glass has a slight irridecence to it which makes it very shiny and look beautiful on my table. Well, I just got home from grocery shopping and I had piled all the bags on the kitchen table while I unpacked them. I needed more room so I pushed the bags on the table back a bit, forgetting that this set sat on the other side of the table. All of a sudden I heard a "clink" as the pepper bottle fell to the floor. I just knew the "clink" was the glass breaking and my heart sank, but after picking it up and inspecting it thoroughly, it was unharmed. Apparently the "clink" sound was the metal cap hitting the floor after it had fallen off, but the glass was fine. Beauty and strength- I love it!!!
