PPI ARE 5.0 Mock Exams All Six Divisions, 2nd Edition – Practice Exams for Each NCARB 5.0 Exam Division

Definitely helped me prepare for my ARE exams. Compliments the Review Manual. The real ARE exams are much harder, but this definitely helps. I also got the Ballast Practice Questions book and both books have different questions and list the answers in the back. The Mock Case Studies are smaller than the real exam, but it’s great practice. I would recommend this book. It’s great practice for timing yourself.

I passed the first time for 3 divisions so far and I am convinced that it was because of the practice exams -exam like questions that helped me learn to manage my time and where to devote extra study time which was limited.

The book is made well and has a ton of great content. much thinner than I thought.

The questions are not restated in the answers so it requires you go back and look at the question before looking at the answer in order for it to make sense. The exams are also not the same length as the real ones which is a bit odd. Not a bad resource but not necessarily a good one either.
