Took both hands and quite a bit of pressure. Though there's probably a knack to knowing just where to cut. Hopefully I'll improve.

Have used it once, broke another scissors, but this bad boy cut straight through the chicken. No issues, would buy again. Very solid

Well made, but just move around in the hand when cutting say chicken

Pro - these look robust and feel solid in the hand. The spring is concealed inside the 'cam' that the blades are joined by so cannot cause snags and gives a clean and simple appearanceCons - the fastening hook that keeps the blades closed was bent out of the box (clearly not a transport issue, but a production issue).The spring is not accessible so if/when it fail, it looks tough to replace (I might be wrong here) but I am not undoing the cam nut to find out!)There are two metal pins/posts drilled and pressed through the blades (to hold and lock the blade fastening hook hook). These posts end in rough points and protrude (slightly) above the face of the blades and needed attention to make safe for contact with the skin (and should be better finished).I noted shards of metal on the cutting blades at the points they come together which is either left over from sharpening them or caused when the blades rub against each other. Gives the impression that the metal used may be of low quality but as it says above, I have not yet used them.They do not appear to be dishwasher safe instead suggesting hand washing.

Spring handle action meant these were more comfortable to use than scissor shaped handles, and they cut through poultry bone with relative ease

I wish I bought this sooner. I have got two very spoiled cats who get rawfed and this product makes their mealprep sooo much easier, not to mention how much less I have to throw away due to not being able to seperate it accuretely. Thanks to the easy handling of the tool it’s also a lot safer than trying to aim well with a knife. I’d recommend this to anyone, but especially to people who meal prep meat for longer periods for freezing and don’t want to spend hours on just chopping and boning.

I’m a fan of spatchcock chicken hence the reason I purchased these shears. They cut through the chicken with no difficulty at all as they’re very sharp. Nice and comfortable to hold even for me with arthritis.

After 2-3 months of use, they’ve broken.I probably only used them a few times a week and they snapped. I was gutted.Until that point though, perfect. Good price, sharp, comfortable, then, snap!
