Item did not have directions, waste of money.

maybe if i mess with it more, i could get more water out of this. But in a survival situation, I dont think this would be practical. Simply because, you have to keep filling the top cover bowl with cool water for it to work properly. And you have to change it constantly. If you didnt have power for a fridge or if its hot outside, or live down south, that maybe a problem if you dont have access to cold water to cool the water vaper on the inside to drip down into the floating bowl. also, dont forget to wear gloves when you empty the top bowl to refill with cool water. The top bowl WILL BE HOT. lol I think a solar still would be more practical, well in warm climates that is and here in ohio i could just melt snow during the colder months. But hey, i can find some other uses for these bowls and pale.

Arrived on time and well packaged. It does work, but very slowly. I suspect that I may be able to get it to produce a bit faster as I play with the temperature a bit, but don't expect to gill a gallon jug in a day. Think about one pint in 8 hours of use. On the plus side, it does work on an induction device...Overall......Not recommended based upon initial use.

It takes too much time and attention to make a usable quantity of water.
