It was an awesome idea!
These were a great replacement for candles on a birthday cake for adults. They do take long to light & sparkle for a few seconds, just long enough to enjoy the fun. I would purchase them again. They made the presentation of the cake a bigger surprise!

Takes very long to get started
We bought these for a cake, they take way too long to get started once we got one to go and got the 2nd to go the 1st was already done burning.

Never worked
Didn’t work for my daughter’s birthday. We tried several different times and days. Held flame in same position and also moved flame to try different positions on the candle ring but no matter how long we waited holding flame it would never light. Don’t buy or will be frustrated and upset kids. Super disappointed.

These are very difficult to get lit and burn very quickly. They do the job but we’re underwhelming.
