LavacoreFull Men's Wetsuit - Full Submersion Body Exposure Suit

My dermatologist thought I may have developed an allergy to Neoprene due to rashes after a dive trip in January. But I already had a Lavacore vest and liked it a lot, so thought I'd try the full suit to eliminate the possibility of a Neoprene allergy. I really like the front zipper! So much easier to get on, and the zipper is double, opening from top or bottom. I do recommend wearing a dive skin underneath this just to make it go on and take off easier, but it kept me just as comfortable as my old 3/2 Neoprene suit while being more flexible. It is also not buoyant and does not compress, so it greatly improved comfort at depth as well as allowing me to drop 4 pounds of lead! LOVE IT.

This is by far my favorite wet suit. I am a commercial diver that divers around the world. This suit is perfect for me because its easy to pack, and offers plenty of thermal protection while not being to hot. The fleece linning is great as well making it very comfortable. The front zip makes it east to put on and take off and the rolled cuffs prevent chaffing.

I've been using this since I started diving and it is amazing quality. It it completely with the purchase to be comfortable and warm especially if you like being out in the water for long periods of times.

Two sets of dives in the Caribean so far. Compresses nicely for travel and front zip is terrific. Adds a nice bit of protection. Many were skeptical about a full suit in 83 degree water until we swam through a school of jelly fish!! Others in the party suffered stings, not us. Easy to get on and off; beats struggling with a heavier wet suit hands down! No more looking like a gymnast/contortionist.Now to just get these made in heavier weights for colder water!

Nice and warm

I used the sizing chart, and fist I ordered an XL. I am 6'2" 220 pounds waist 37" Hips 37" Chest 45". The XL was way too small, I could hardly get it over my shoulders, and once I did it was too short in the torso. I returned the XL and ordered a 2XL, and while I was ordering I also ordered a 3XL. The 2XL was still to tight in the torso, but fit fine the rest of the areas. I kept the 3XL and it is the best fitting of the bunch. I normally ware a large or XL dress shirt, an XL tee shirt, my pants are 36 X 34. I have not had a chance to use the suit yet but I have friends that really like them, not to hot in warm water, but warm enough for that 75 degree water. I hope this helps someone else from having to reorder and return product as it cost a few bucks to return.
