I've found these to be really clean-burning wicks
One of the most important aspects of candle making is choosing the right wick size for your candle. A properly wicked candle is going to burn cleaner and longer, as well as give your fragrance more throw. These wicks are an all natural fiber that are coated in a soy wax, they are pre-cut to the length you order and they come tabbed. They are constructed from natural, flat cotton threads that are interwoven with paper threads. Manufacturer does state these wicks are best if used in a soy based wax, so keep that in mind. I LOVE that this product does not contain any lead, zinc or other metals and I've found these to be really clean-burning wicks. When using these wicks there's no black soot in the jars or tins, which makes for an easy clean out, and if you're anything like me, you're reusing or recycling containers. Perfect for making all kinds of tall standing candles; pillars, container or filled candles, gel candles and specialty candles. I will order more of these again, and again! These are horrible. I wish I could give them zero stars
These are horrible. I wish I could give them zero stars. These are NOT low smoke. It's as if I ordered high smoke wicks.. These are the worst. I saw another review on these that explained the other issue with these wicks which is they don't burn off.. They just fold over into the wax. I have to blow out the candle and then the next time I want to light it, I have to cut the wick off and then dig it out of the hard wax.. If I don't then the candle usually won't light. Also, the soot from the wick stains the wax. I've attached a photo so you can see where a layer of the wax is dark and discolored because the soot from the wick falls into the wax I guess. Idk, these are pretty horrendous. The other photos are just to show how much soot comes off of the candle when burning. It turns my (originally translucent) mason jar, completely opaque black.

bad wicks too much black soot smoke!
These wicks are not safe ! I have been making candles for 20 years ordered these because the description said they were theperfect for the size jar I'v been using for years 8oz ..well these are horrible the flame is sky high black soot comes out causing walls and lamp shades to have a smokey look no matter how much I trimmed the wick it was very high..okay so I decided to try in an 32 oz jar same thing no difference!! Beware not safe and tons of black soot .

Not great
Most of the wicks came off of the metal holder. It was annoying because after I secured the wicks inside of the vessels, about 20-30 were unsuccessful due to the wick coming off. I suppose you can put them back together with needle nose pliers but I didn’t have any on hand. It was a real hassle.

It’s a candle wick.
Seems to burn a little weird. Almost like they curve over after hours of burning instead of burning off. As the candle burns down the wick is slightly behind it in a curved droopy pattern but still have no problems with it. Wouldn’t use for a small business but making them for myself at home they work!!
