Installation was very simple. Just plugged into the electric and plugged into wifi cable and it worked. Does what I need.

Overall it works well. Every once in a while it'll decide to cut out and it will take a few minutes to get back up and going

I'm not an expert, but it seems to run slow.

I was forced to return this device, because it was impossible for me to setup. I followed the instructions to connect to the router for setup, however, the login/setup page was all in what I believe was Chinese, but was definitely NOT English. I was able to log in using the default username and password provided (making assumptions that the top field was for username, bottom for password) and hoped I could find a dropdown menu to change the language, or some button/link - anything in English that I could understand, to no avail. Perhaps I got a unit that had foreign firmware installed for use in another market, as it seemed like the device itself was functioning (I was able to see that it was broadcasting the default WiFi network SSID) but with no way to change defaults, setup security on the network, etc, it was unusable as far as I am concerned.

This router is easy to configure and has a much stronger signal than the ISP's router. I used to use a wifi extender upstairs, but it is no longer needed. The signal strength from the wavlink is solid on the first and second floor. I highly recommend!

Very easy set up but the instructions are lacking, it’s a little pamphlet with nothing of substance. Fortunately, a quick search on google and you’ll know what you need to. Just plug router into a laptop or computer thru an Ethernet port and choose Access or Wireless Repeater to extend signal. Does not increase the speed at all but it will make the existing connection easier to connect to and much more stable. Purchased it to try and make my Oculus Link work but it won’t increase my original modems speed. Still keeping it, good way not to have dead zones around the house.

This unit should work fine if all you need is a basic router for 25Mbps DSL or similar. I encountered a few problems which make it unsuitable for my home.1 - All wired ports are described as 1,000 Mbps ethernet but can only achieve 100 Mbps2 - Wireless (2.54Mhz and 5 Ghz) can only reach a maximum speed of about 80 Mbps3 - My neighbors 5Ghz wireless has (much) higher signal strength - in my house - than this does.Not recommended for network service over about 50 Mbps, Mine is 200 Mbps.
