PB 8218 SwissGrip Screwdriver Kit for Slotted & Phillips (Tobacco)

The media could not be loaded.  Strong metal and the screw driver head fits beautifully into screws. Makes screwing stuff a breeze and somewhat enjoyable after using cheap drivers for years. My biggest complaint and the thing I was afraid of was there would be a lot of play with the shaft into the handle and my suspicions were confirmed even though orher reviewers said there was no play and it was a super tight fit where the screw driver blades go into the handle. A little too much play for my tastes and for what it costs. I have had cheap screw drivers of this type where you can insert the drivers Into the handle with a lot less play and tighter tolerances. Also more philips or even a few jis philips would of been nice instead of half a dozen flat heads. This is totally unacceptable at this cost.

This set is well worth the money. First off, the included handle is very grippy and sturdy. It's lightweight, but doesn't feel cheaply made at all. Second, the individual blades are beautiful. Dimensionally accurate, well hardened yet durable, and when snapped into the handle they hold position nice and snug. Only one of the blades (#5 flat head) has any slop when in place, and it's VERY minor. They are all laser engraved with p/n's, branding, and size info which adds to the premium feel of the set. Third, the included tool roll is higher quality than any I've ever seen. It is perfect, and has too many nice touches to list; a couple I would have never even thought of. This is huge in my opinion, it shows they took the time to perfect every aspect of the set. I am so sick of cheap vinyl tool rolls, it was so refreshing to open the box and see this! The only word of caution I will give is that this isn't the type of driver you would use as a pry bar, but that's not what is intended for, it's too pretty! I knew PB made the best hex keys, now I know they make the best driver sets. Kudos, you brilliant Swiss bastards!

I was a bit skeptical of PB Swiss drivers as they are so expensive and I had good experiences with Wiha screwdrivers. But man ... these beauties are in a class of their own. All of the reviews that rave about their quality and craftsmanship are dead on. When you hold these tools in your hands and begin to use them, you can tell they are well made. These have quickly become my favorite drivers to use -- I've even been making up excuses to use them around the house and workshop. Looking forward to getting more PB Swiss tools now.

High quality tool set. The blades fit into the handle tightly - no play at all. Construction is fantastic. So far we've used it to remove rusted old screws that were stuck in an antique. The screws were very difficult to remove. Regular tapered screwdrivers would have simply stripped the screws. The blade we used had maximum contact with the sides of the screw slot. We were able to remove the screws without damage. It would have been difficult to find replacement screws having the same antique look.

I absolutely love this screwdriver set! Amazing quality and attention to detail. I've used PB Swiss Tools for years and can attest to the durability of the blade tips. Outstanding products. Highly recommend.

Wow what a screwdriver set! My dad had a great set like this growing up and I've been looking for something like it. Love this set.

Das Schraubendreherset von PB Swiss Tools ist bei mir täglicher Arbeitsbegleiter.Ich arbeite im Bereich F&E und mein Unternehmen stellt nur 0815-Werkzeug für unsere Abteilung zur Verfügung, wenn eigene Entwicklungen mal (de-)montiert werden, um unsere Erzeugnisse zu testen.Ich bin mit der Qualität des Schraubendrehers, sowie der Wechselklingen sehr zufrieden. Sie sind hochwertig und ich konnte noch keine Abnutzungserscheinungen feststellen.Warum ist es dann keine volle 5-Sternebewertung?Ich habe Probleme mit der Zusammenstellung des Sets. Wer halbwegs mit neuwertigen Schraubverbindungen arbeiten möchte, benötigt PZ- oder TX-Wechselklingen. Diese sind im Set nicht enthalten.Der Vorstecher besitzt für mich keine Relevanz und ist direkt aus dem Set geflogen. Hier nur die Anmerkung, dass dieser sehr spitz und hervorragend verarbeitet ist. Erstes unachtsame Hineingreifen in das Set hat einen blutigen Finger zur Folge gehabt. (Vielleicht den Vorstecher mit einer Kappe versehen?)Des Weiteren noch die folgenden Anmerkungen:- Die mitgelieferte Tasche besitzt nicht viele Aufnahmen für Wechselklingen. Aus diesem Grund mussten leider die beiden kleinen Schlitzschraubendreher bei meiner neuen Zusammensetzung entfallen.- Wechselklingen zu bestellen gestaltet sich recht schwierig, da diese bei keinem großen Händler zur Verfügung stehen. (Werden bspw. nicht auf Amazon oder direkt von PB Swiss Tools verkauft.)Fazit:Die Qualität der Schraubendreher-Wechselklingen ist sehr hochwertig. Die Ergonomie des Griffs ebenso super (für mich).Zusammenstellung der Wechselklingen und Platz innerhalb der Tasche mMn. überarbeitungswürdig.Bilder meiner neuen Zusammenstellung (mit PZ- und TX-Wechselklingen) sind angehängt.

Die Rolltasche mit den Wechselklingen, dem Griff und den beiden kleinen Schlitzschraubendrehen kommt in der gewohnten PB Swiss Tools Qualität daher.Durch das Konzept der Wechselklingen lässt sich die Tasche sehr kompakt rollen und man hat alles dabei, perfekt für unterwegs.Der Stahl hat eine tolle Qualität und auch der Griff bietet ergonomischen und sicheren Halt bei der Arbeit.Die Rolltasche ist sauber verarbeitet und es lassen sich alle Teile ohne Gefummel entnehmen und wieder zurück packen.Von meiner Seite eine klare Empfehlung für alle die Qualitätswerkzeug für unterwegs suchen.

Der Schraubenziehersatz ist qualitativ sehr hochwertig und die Kraftübertragung auf die Schrauben ist perfekt.

Sehr filigranes und feines Werkzeug - ich benutze es als mobiles Werkzeug in der klassisch aussehenden Rolle für meine alten Motorräder...passt wegen des Aussehens und der Größe der Rolle perfekt!

Unglaublich hochwertiges Set. Ich habe sonst auch nur Markenprodukte wie Wiha, Wera, Stahlwille oder Felo, aber das hier ist nochmal ein anderes Level. Bestimmt nicht das letzte Werkzeug von PB Swiss.
