Amazing Flicker Affect
I love this bulb; it actually gives a beautiful flickering light. I use it in a colored shade where the bulb does not actually show, but in a clear shade the bulb would not look so good, it is larger than standard flicker bulbs and as such needs a shade with color to show up as a real candle affect. With that said the bulb in my lamp with a colored shade does look so realistic, like I have an actual candle burning. It is a bit pricey so let's hope it lasts a very long time!!

love this light
Bought this to use in my lamp post in my yard for the month of October and love it. From a distance, it does mimic a flame and looks realistic...once you get closer you can clearly see the LED lights but if you frosted the glass of the lamp or put something to diffuse the light, it wouldn't be seen.It doesn't seem bright enough to use inside (unless you want to mimic dim candlelight), so I wouldn't buy this if you are intending to use it to provide ample lighting outside.

Amazing flickering effect
This is a wonderful light. Its color is white as opposed to the orange/red ones that are out there; it looks more like a gas light or bright candle. The flickering effect is convincing from about 5' or more away and is indeed beautiful. The only downside I have about these are they are really dim. I have four of them on my front porch, two in each fixture and they barely give off enough light to see. They are pretty, but if you want to see the pizza guy on your ring doorbell, forget it. If security is not a concern, then go for it as they are heads and tails better than the cheap, Chinese stuff.

Very cool
The media could not be loaded. I was getting tired of buying the bulds so I decided to try these led fake flame. Now i have to buy 3 more to replace the rest of them. Good buy!

Perfect!
The media could not be loaded. This has a fairly realistic looking candle flame, and I love the fact that it is LED! A little pricey, but hopefully they will last a long time

I love this light bulb
So I didn't measure the current draw on this bulb but it is very very efficient and small. I have 1 watt LED night light bulbs that at twice as hot to the touch. The look at a distance is really cool outdoor and far away through the trees, and the color is about right. Still a touch amber but not harsh like the other flick bulbs and very acceptable.

Did not stay lit!
When I put three bulbs in an outdoor light, they did not stay lit consistently each time I would turn the light switch on or off. One of the bulbs did not seem to want to light out of the package, and I had to twist it around in the light socket a bit to get it to light. In addition to not staying lit, these lights are exorbitantly expensive for what you get. They also look electronic or like a goofy circuit board close up, not like an actual flame or even a simulated flame. At a distance, they do look very nice, but if they don’t stay lit, what’s the point?! I also cannot understand why they limited me to buying 4 bulbs when I actually need 16 bulbs for all of my lights outdoors. That’s just plain silly. However, I wanted to try them out based on ratings and the fact that they were a different design, and I figured I would only put them in my two lights in the backyard and do something else out front. I am highly disappointed in these lights and hope that somebody can come up with a realistic candelabra (E12) type of flickering flame light for outdoor coach lights. At this point it looks like only standard flickering flame lights look any good at all. Finally, I read online that these were dusk to dawn, but they are not. It turns out that only their lantern is dust to dawn, not these bulbs.

Nice, however. . .
Value wise there is very little, especially compared to GE's Flame1-Watt EQ B Candle Light Bulb at aprox $8 ea. Performance is very good, it's not tacky, but if you want to use it outside to illuminate your home, you may want to re-think it. Outdoor home illumination is important for 2 reasons: security and aesthetics. Hopefully they will make one just a bit brighter that performs the same.
