Winged Aquatics Bird Pond with 3 Tier Cascade

I really thought this was a bit different in the descript than what came, I had not expected a flexible liner that would need to have a design draw on the ground and then dug out, I thought it was a molded shallow pan not a liner that required cutting or shaping and I expected a different waterfall than the plastic one that came - I guess I was expecting a waterfall that had more texture and was not black, one that would look more real than the ones that you get at improvement stores, but this is just like those, I could have gotten all this there locally however, for the price it probably is cheaper through amazon but I was disappointed that the waterfall is slick which will require me to glue rocks on it with pond glue to keep chipmunks from slipping and drowning in it and I will have to dig down into the dirt after figuring out how much liner to leave around the edge etc. so that it doesn't leak out the edge etc. so it's a project that I thought would be a bit more self contained and easily installed. Live and learn. Hopefully I can get this installed and it will work and be great but it's probably a day project to get it all done right especially if I have to glue rocks to it to make it look more natural. And then I have to add the cost of the rocks to do that so it's not that cheap.

The local birds love it. I've seen as many as 8 birds using it at once. We did need to make a small modification. The kit has a 90 gallons per hour pump which did not move the water the way we had hoped. I replaced it with a Becket 130 gallons an hour pump. No one wrote about cleaning. I read about a few pond cleaners for algae control. Purchased the Pond-zyme with barley which is supposed to be safe for fish and wild life. Also has to get the Mosquito Dunks.I do wish the cascade was an earthy color like brown or green. Don't understand why the end of the cascade is so narrow.The take away is the kit does what it is supposed to but you will want to make improvements.

This pond was great....fairly easy kit using some imagination. My mistake was size....liner was too small for what I wanted to do so I bought a larger pond liner and went with it! Love it......much!

Liner was to thin and to small for my pond. Cascade was to large and pump supplied was not powerful enough to move the water sufficiently.

pump hose was slit in 3 places. pump hose comes out of the top and water is just not pumping right. should take water in from the side orhave an elbo adaptor.

Love the product. Haven't set it up as yet because of the weather. But I am going to love watching the birds bath in it this summer and the sound of the water at night.

Bad news:1. You're going to have to buy some other stuff. You'll need the rocks and landscaping--it's just a liner, pump, waterfall tray and a hose.2. You may want a bigger pump. I'm finding that this one moves water okay, but other users have said they wanted more Gph.3. The hose that came with this kit DOES NOT FIT. I had to go out and buy another piece of hosing.Good news:The directions were really easy to follow and made creating my pond really easy and straightforward. So far, I have not had the GpH problems other people mentioned.In short, if you know what you're getting into, this is a good product to get you started. It's not going to turn your backyard into a bird wonderland, though...that's going to take a lot more work.

I ended up discarding the plastic waterfall provided and using the liner and pump. I didn't visually like the way the hard plastic trays were sculpted. The picture hides the product you are getting with rocks that are not included. I would recommend another product for someone making a small pond. The pump and liner are fine, but the black waterfall sections are really hard to arrange in a way that looks natural and difficult to cut.
