FIVO Powered Sprayer Pump and Battery to Upgrade Lawn and Garden Sprayer to Powered Sprayer (DIY kit 5000 mAh)

I do wish the switch was connected by wire so that I can operate it using the same hand for the spray wand, but it's a fairly simple fix by soldering on a longer wire and taping it to the handle.While it does save a lot more time and has plenty of water flow, the pressure is not as high so the droplets are not as fine as hand pumping, so it's less efficient, though I don't think this is much of an issue since rinseless wash is cheap.

Purchased the power sprayer pump to up grade my Lesco 1 1/2 gallon sprayer. Once installed, it is working well for what I am intending to use it for, spraying herbicides. I needed a trip to the hardware store (ACE) as there were no clamps included in the package. I also needed a nylon hose barb Splicer, 3/8" to 1/4".The pump in and out are 1/4" and the sprayer hose is 3/8" (as are many of the better quality sprayers). I also had to purchase some automotive type hose clamps, and a short section of clear 3/8" tubing just to see if it was working. I eventually used a short section of automotive hose to connect the pump to the hose barb on the 1/4" side, as the 3/8" barb went into the sprayer hose. I first used zip ties to secure the hoses to the barbs, but they would not seal good enough on the pump, so I went to the better clamps. It took about an hour to fabricate and re-fabricate these connections so they worked without leaking. I already had on hand a 5000 mAh power bank for my phone and it seemed more than sufficient to power the pump.In retrospect, I would had made the pump to hose connection in the inlet (sprayer) side a little longer and would have found a short spring to go over that section of hose for added support, it works fine now so I am not going to disturb my current connections. I will probably purchase another pump for my backpack sprayer as well. I want to use this one for a couple of weeks first, but my first impression is the pump works as intended, but I wish the add for the pump would have mentioned the necessity of having to purchase and install other material in order for it to fit sprayers with larger than 1/4" ID hoses. I have several sprayers, none with that small of hose.

This little pump is FANTASTIC!!!! It handles pressure as I first used to run my sprayer for pests and then weeds (actually it was ground clear so grass, shrubs, trees, just about any plant life!) And it handled 3.5 gallons like nothing! Then, in an emergency I used it to pump gasoline!!! Did fine, no fire, explosions, etc. I immediately pumped water through to save the seals, AND IT STILL PUMP PERFECTLY!!! I honestly thought I'd ruin it, but it took the licking and kept on ticking!! Do yourself a favor, you need a good solid mini pump, BUY THIS ONE!!!

Pro"s:It makes spraying a lot easier then pumping.It worked through 2 gallons of liquid without losing power.Set up isn't very hard.Con's:Its not a high pressure spray, so won't cover a large area with one pass.Design could be better.The waterproof bag is useless without adding duct tape. A fitted waterproof case would be much better.Tips:Instead of using the fasteners thats currently sold with the kit, the type that clamps on a small gas line would be much easier to use.If the inlet/outlet is the same size as your sprayer hose, take a pen and shove into the hose then use a lighter on the hose end for a few seconds to heat the rubber and stretch it out.

Love this tool but the power switch is intermittent. Sometimes there is a delay in power, sometimes I had to operate the switch four or more times. Once running it does not cut off until turned off. I bought it for spraying weed killer on a three an a half acre, cross fenced property. It's awesome except as described. I am returning it for an exchange. After spraying, I won't need it for weeks or months and can't take a chance that it quits altogether after the exchange period. FOLLOW UP - The exchange unit came today. The pump and pump switch appear to be good. The power bank showed partial charge so I plugged it in with the cord provided. After a few minutes the charging lights were dim and and the power bank was too hot to touch especially around the charging inlet. I unplugged it and put in in a metal pan (I have heard that lithium batteries can catch fire). It was still very warm around the charging port after sitting overnight. The replacement did not come with a bag or carabiner. I am going to keep the pump and use a power bank that I already own.

Easy to use and install, turned a $20 sprayer into a $150 sprayer. Works great and it seems like you wouldn’t need a sprayer at all if you have a wand and a bucket/ tank.

I have trouble with on off switch on battery. It can take 5-6 try’s to turn in or off. Other than that I have been very pleased good flow easy installation good price
