A waste of money!!
The stand came broken. The paint is chipping off in multiple places. It is very flimsy. Way over priced. The decorative scrolls around the edge are bent and not arranged in order. I wouldn't give $5 at a garage sale for this. Have never had a bad experience with anything I have purchased from Amazon, so I'll chalk this up to a rare quirk.

Beautiful Dessert Display Piece
This iron cupcake stand is so pretty as well as functional. When not in use it is very easy to store since it breaks down to the height of the bottom tray and all 3 trays can nest into each other. When you need it, it takes just a few moments to assemble. The center rod unscrews as 3 pieces. Unscrew all 3 pieces and attach the bottom 1/3 of the rod to the largest tray through the hole in the center. Remember to use the metal washer between the tray and the pole. Place the middle tray on top of the pole and repeat the process until all three trays are secured into place by the center rod. The scrollwork of the metal adds an elegant touch to the stand and really makes the presentation of the desserts pop. It is very sturdy once put together, but light enough that it can be moved from place to place as needed. I think it would make for a beautiful addition to anyone's entertaining pieces.My biggest problem was that I could not use the first stand I was sent and had to send it back for a refund because it arrived damaged. One of the bottom scroll feet was broken off and it took about 2 weeks between sending it back and reordering to get it replaced. When this stand arrived, I did notice that one of it't bottom feet was bent, but not broken so I could push it back into place. Other than that, this piece was fine, but I would like to see the manufacturer look into a bit stricter quality control before a piece is shipped to the customer. I did receive this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
