Update 12/3/23Well… I’ve been wearing these shoes daily since my purchase approximately 6 months ago. They are still good shoes but there has been some issues.First off…. I bought these in June to wear during my two week European vacation. They held up great. After a few months I had noticed small blue specks of plastic type material dropping out of the shoe.It would feel like I had a pebble in my shoe which really bothers me. It turns out that the inside lining in the toe box area was wearing away which exposed this blue plastic lining. It would crumble randomly when wearing the shoes.I purchased some mole skin shoe tape to try to solve this issue. Hopefully the tape will extend the life of these shoes a little long. They are super comfortable but they look pretty worn after 6 month in the photo.Would I purchase another pair? Probably yes but I would want a darker brown color as these are very light compared to what is pictured in their example.Original review:The thing that I hate with most new shoes is that you sometimes have to have this uncomfortable period of breaking them in.Well…. Not with these shoes!They were so comfortable the moment I slipped them on. The leather is so soft and bends effortlessly when walking. It’s not stiff leather. I wore them out the first day for about 5 hours and my feet felt fantastic.I also love the deep light brown color. I definitely recommend and will be purchasing another pair soon. Don’t hesitate because you won’t be disappointed. I bought another similar style of shoe and returned those and kept these.

Don’t hesitate to buy these. I got the white on sale (Black Friday) at $88.Simple and functional design, very minimalistic. So far very comfortable, really no issues at all. Followed the sizing guideline and ordered half size smaller than my usual (9 instead of 9.5). Material is not the softest leather you have ever seen, but that’s justified given the reasonable price.

I'm writing this review even though this shoe didn't work out for me. For some reason, both times I tried these, the right shoe had some stitching on the inside of the tongue that pressed against the knuckle of my big toe. I don't know what's going on--maybe it's a quality control issue?With that said, the quality of the rest of the shoe looked really nice. The leather was fairly thick, and the inner lining also looked of good quality. The sole felt very grippy on a wooden surface.As a fashion shoe, it looked great all around, especially the silhouette. If you're looking for something minimal, it's hard to complain about these, as there's nothing--not even a small logo--anywhere on the outside of these shoes. The black upper with white sole looks very sleek.The shoe that fit (on my left foot) felt very comfortable, and sometimes it didn't feel as though I was wearing anything. It's a shame that the right side didn't work out.These shoes do run large. I'm usually a 9 in dress shoes and a 9.5 in sneakers, and I had to get an 8.5. And even that wasn't snug.I really wish these shoes worked out for me. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be. But even so, I can appreciate these shoes for what they are.

Pros: Seems comfortable (can't tell for sure since I'm returning it); fit as expected; the sole looks nice and is pure whiteCons: Leather is either fake or just flimsy; just looks cheap, definitely for the price. Don't let the name fool you. It's made in China

I had a pair of Rockports very similar in look to these but I was going on vacation and needed a new pair quickly so I took a chance with these... these are about the same cost as the Rockports and look just as good but horribly uncomfortable. I tried taking the insolve out and replacing with the old Rockport one and that is better but still not great. Never again will I choose speed over quality. 😒

Quality footwear. Genuine soft leather upper. Bought at the sale price so was very good value for money.
