HP delivery time is extremely long about 2 months ahead. Glad to find one available in Amazon.
I used this HP OMEN for a Video decoder PC, the GPU and the high speed of display were perfect for my project.Installed with Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS

Great Performance, Terrible Qualitt Hardware
First the good. I bought it for music production purposes and playing games. In that department it has some reliability. It’s fairly powerful for the cost, but there are better options. Read below for all the bad.12 months after the purchase, certain keys started failing. You cannot fix individual keys, and have to replace the whole top piece, which runs around $400-$500. I bought a BT keyboard instead.18 months after the purchase, the hard drive completely failed. I looked it up, it’s a known problem, yet HP continued to use it, so make sure you always have an external SSD and save everything on that if you don’t want to lose anything. So I installed an SSD, which was a great upgrade.Earlier in ‘23, the USB-C outlet stopped working altogether. This laptop comes with 3 USB ports, which is not enough for a mouse, keyboard, audio interface, external drive, music hardware, etc.All-in-all, I highly recommend buying a sturdier laptop and definitely avoid HP anything. Framework makes fully customizable ones and I plan to invest in one soon. I think this whole planned obsolescence is an absolute tragedy. It is absurd that a $1,000-$1,400 laptop starts breaking down this quickly. Dell, HP, and its subsidiaries are all trash, their components and hardware are made cheaply, made to break, and are honestly a travesty.

Computer seems okay but the real problem is the seller
The computer worked really well. Until it didn’t.We’ve had to send this computer off twice now for hard drive failure. TWICE. The first time was understandable but the second time shouldn’t of happened if this seller/company whatever actually fixed the computer. We only play games and write docs on this computer, there’s nothing that we could figure out that we were doing to fry the hard drive. On top of that, the second time we sent the computer of it was with a charger and they sent it back without the charger and claim we didn’t send it with the charger. We did. So we ended up buying a new charger, only to find out? The computer doesn’t charge. The new charger works on our roommate’s computer just fine.So now we are out the shopping we had to pay because they didn’t fix it the first time within the warranty, the money for the charger, AND a thousand dollar paper weight.Don’t buy this computer from this seller. Just get it from a reliable source like Best Buy or something.

Multiple hardware failures in 1-2 years.
The laptop itself is fine, it's sleek, cool RGB options, etc. I used it for work and light gaming. The SSD started showing signs of trouble within the first year, and completely died shortly after. Replaced it and used the laptop for another year, and the motherboard completely died. Out of warranty and HP's tech support just offered generic advice that I had already found online. Long time HP fan but after this experience I'm looking elsewhere. RIP
