Soft glow
I put these on my porch to show support for our Military. I live in a military town. They give a soft yet nice look outside.

bugs can't see them
I ordered these for use as bug lights outside in a closed in fixture and they are working great. Could not find these at a local store. needed small base.

replaced ceiling fan lights with these bulbs in the patio and it gave it a great look for just hanging out.

good blue light
Very good brightness and excellent color. One possible disadvantage to some might be that the whole bulb does not light. It's colored blue on the lower half (which doesn't light ever) and when turned on the upper frosted white unlit turns into a very nice bright blue color. A bit expensive IMHO. We purchased with yellow lights, same manufacturer, to use on outside house lights together (blue and yellow) to show support for Ukraine.

Much Better than I anticipated!
I really didn't know what to expect with this purchase and figured, wth... if it's cheap and not the desired effect, I'll return.HOWEVER - these are super cool! very well made from what I can tell (I'm not an electrician) but it's not flimsy, thin glass bulbs. The socket and bulb itself feels solid and sturdy. I liked them so much I ordered another color.FYI: It is hard to get a real feel for the color effect from an online pic, but now that they are in the lamp I can advise that the pics of the rooms with the 'color effect' in the above description *are very accurate.* The bulbs really do give off that glow of the color used.The light is evenly emitted and there is NO GLARE, which is what I wanted.As far as brightness, these are 40 watt, low-light bulbs. Perfect for my intended use.I was looking for just a little bit of ambience when watching TV. Something that wasn't too bright & glaring, but a soft glow.I now have a really 'chill' living room. LOL.

Better than a Xmas bulb
Replaced where a Xmas bulb was not enough.Perfect fit and bright. Exactly what I was looking for.

Excellent
Used this for a small 2 gallon beta tank. It fit perfectly. If you decide to use for same purpose, the bulb is a standard candle size but may be too big if the replacing light is of a small size and space may be limited.
