HVR Mini Drone with Video Camera 4GB Memory Card (and card reader) and Easy to Use Controller

EDIT: The drone lasted maybe a year with maybe 20 uses before the battery took a dump. Pretty good considering the price was like $25 but still.This is a great drone for the price. Be aware that you get what you pay for, so don't expect this to be the same quality as a $150 drone.That being said, the features you get for this price make it an unbeatable deal. The ability to take pictures and record are an added bonus at this price. It's great for people who are starting out in the hobby because it is so affordable. Plus, from my experience, the controls are the same as many other drones, which means it's a very affordable price to learn how to actually fly. My favorite thing about this is the size. It's easy to fly around in the house, and surprisingly quick, it's so small that it won't damage much when we inevitably crash, and the blades aren't going to cut anyone. Also this thing is amazingly hardy. The other day while flying around I took it up about 100 feet in the air to take a 360 video. Me being a bad pilot lost control and it flew behind the house. Because I lost line of sight I tried bringing it down safely. However that didn't work and it came crashing down, off the roof and onto a sidewalk. The damage? None, just a scuff mark or two. Still very fly able as if nothing happened. I will note that the plastic body did pop out of the holder, BUT with a small squeeze it popped right back together. Again, no damage to the plastic, blades, or how it flew. Wove already recommended this to one of my friends as his first drone.

Pretty good flyer, but on the pricey side compared to others available with similar features. The included 4GB SD card and reader is nice though. Camera quality is about what I expected. The rolling shutter effect is apparent, but daylight performance is acceptable. Don't expect to be blown away, but it's still fun to review footage. The biggest downside is lack of replacement parts.The "Quadpro® 40pcs 5 Color Cheerson Cx-10 Propellers" will work with this, but result in somewhat reduced performance.Pros:- Stable flight and good control for a nano- Looks pretty cool- Good included accessories- Well packaged- Rubberized plastic coating on controller gives it a good feelCons:- Lack of replacement parts- Price (although I know some got it for $10, I paid $50)- No labels on controls, some buttons not intuitiveEdit: The seller contacted me and will be sending me some of the original replacement rotors for free. The propellers are better and outlasted the motors. Had for two days and flew about 12 times before one motor started to have issues. I am not finding replacement parts for this micro drone. There are many drones out there that offer replacement parts. I would suggest if you can't find replacement propellers, then it probably lacks any replacement parts. I would not buy this mfg again. Wasted moneyUpdate!The seller strives for a five star review. When asked what it would take to accomplish this, it was parts to fix the broken unit and the replacement parts list with prices. I received a refurbish drone with more extra blades and was told that replacement parts are not currently available from the manufacturer. If this review was only about the seller then I would give 5 stars. Since it is as much about the product I can only offer it a three. I plan to update again in a week and if the replacement doesn't have a motor go out I will increase it up to four. Without replacement parts being available for an item of this nature I can't in good concience give it a five. As like I ended my first review, I would not purchase another one simply because the lack of replacement parts. I would however want to buy from this seller because it felt sincere that they wanted to do what was needed to make this customer happy. That means a lot to me! Cudos!

flying:With any drone takes a while to get used to. But once going it is fun to use.Video/camera:Pretty good for a small drone.Durability:Broke the first day. Not sure what went wrong.Update:The company is sending a replacement drone. Family is excited to fly again. Hopefully it was just a bad drone we got.

this was a great drone for my 12 yr old- he is very good with hand eye coordination and enjoyed this until my dog chewed on it :(. Note due to the learning process in flying the propellers do get beat up so order some replacements along with the drone Quadpro® 40pcs 5 Color Cheerson Cx-10... Quadpro

Bought this for my husband and it has held up well for the use that it has had in our house. It is the first drone that my husband has had so it was crashing around in our living room quite a bit, but held up.

My son used this once, had a minor crash, and a rotor broke. Took us a long time to get the replacement and put it on (our fault) but he used it for maybe 20 minutes on and off before one of the rotors just stopped spinning. There's no visible damage on the unit and the rotor spins fine by hand but it does not engage when we try to operate the unit so it does not fly. We've gotten basically 1 day of use from this unit.

Bought it as a gift for my Dad. He broke it flying it into a tree in about a minute. Not bumping it, but smashing it head on. So yeah don't fly it into a tree it'll break. It comes with replacement propellers. I gave it a shot after we fixed it. Worked great, was nice and easy to control. The video was surpringly clear for a thing this tiny. He broke it again a few weeks later. 5/5 survived my Dad's spatial reasoning skills for longer than anything should.
