Grey Owl: Three Complete Works

Toured Hemmingway's home in Key West recently. His bookcase, behind glass, contained one of the works in this printing. Figured if it was good enough for Hemmingway it deserved a look even if I had never heard of the guy. Purchased it through Amazon and am glad I did. That's my review. Try it.

After watching the movie Grey Owl, I wanted to learn more by reading Archie's book. It's very well written. I hope you enjoy it.

Book was in better condition than advertised. True story but sad. Saw the movie and had to read the book. I don't read much but thoroughly enjoyed this book. Strongly recommend it.

I have read it over and over. Grey Owl was a wonderful story teller. You can relive a day gone by. And for those of you who have been on a trap line or paddled the northern waters. You will relive every moment through his stories.Well written and compelling story craft!

Having recently seen the movie, I wanted more detail about "Grey Owl": his history, his philosophy, and his lifestyle. The book delivered.

This book is wonderful for those who love a well written book. It is filled with Grey Owl's devotion towards nature. Written back about 80 years ago, the style of writing is not what one would be accustomed to today, however if you just sit back and let the words envelope you, you will be transported into another time, a simpler time.
