First of all, when I purchased these lights I was very sceptical weather or not I would be getting actual RGBIC lights or yet another falsely advertised RBG only set.I can confirm these are RGBIC. I believe they use the WS8211 standard for anyone who's interested.The strips themselves are in fact water resistant. Other strips with the same sort of clear rubber coating usually advertise as ip65.The section which connects the led stips to the plain wire which connects to the controller is not water resistant and if you plan to use these outside will need protection against the elements.The controller and the power supply are not water resistant in any way either.The kit uses x2 6 metre strips to total 12 metres in total. The controller operates by the included remote only and has no bluetooth or WiFi capabilities.The colours are very bright however, yellow does look green and white looks quite blue.For anyone handy with a soldering iron, this can easily be resolved by replacing the controller. The LED's are not doing anything wrong themselves, it's simply a poorly programmed controller. You could even easily upgrade these to be controlled via WLED or even a Raspberry Pi all depending on your diy skill level and what you actually want to achieve from the LED strips.If your simply wanting some cheap bright, LED strips which can react to sound, create different patterns and not simply blink one colour at once then, I recommend these.If you want to get a little handy and upgrade them to do more, you can and for the price, I would say it's not too much of a big deal if you mess up.These type of strip lights cannot be cut to length due to the nature of how they work.If you really need to cut them, you would also need to replace the controller to something you can program so it understands how many pixels the stip now has.

This is the ONE you looking for, multi colour, bright, customizable, REAL RGB, not like the cheap week single colour rgb models. Bought multiple, may going to buy more as its AMAZING.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought 2 packs of these lights as separates. These lights are fantastic ! They come with a 3M adhesive strip on the back, and they stick real good. With buying 2 packs they come with a remote each - ALTHOUGH it has a ‘Control Many’ option which allows you to control 2 receivers from the one remote, which is a first for me !!!The modes it has also is amazing aswell- I am so chuffed with the product and being an electrician to trade- these are my go to choice to install from now on !1 downfall is that there isn’t an app to be able to play music through - although the built in mic is very responsive !!Instructions are very easy to understand to.This is just an amazing product, how long they last is yet to be seen as they are just installed but so far I am really really impressed !

Need it a bit longer but oh well, only thing is the modes aren’t that good but everything else is good but price is quite expensive but good quality.

The brightness level is good and the lights are pretty good, ive been using these for a week now and there good. Its just that i wanted more option for custom made light options as there are only 3 of them. Email me if you need a paid 5 star reviewer.

Searched ages for LED strips that a multicolour mode and patterns, found these eventually and quite impressed, only 3 multicolour/rainbow modes so a few more would be great but decent price. mounted them in light channels to diffuse the glare and look really good. No white LED of RGB so whites very underwhelming and controller box is too close to light strip which means if you have them high on wall or ceiling the controller box cannot be hidden, had to buy an extension cable to solve that problem. This product arrived safe and well packaged.Inside the box is all you need to light up any area of your house (or any indoor space) and the instructions on how to do this. I've chosen to install these in a display area for my models. With 6 metres of lights in this box it was the perfect size to fill a small room - or big display area.The light strips are stuck to the wooden shelving with the sticky strips on the back. These have a very strong grip, so stick the lights almost instantly. Once laid in place, the power lead and control box are connected to the mains - and job done!They can be controlled with the included remote control that gives total control over the device, colour, brightness, patterns etc.These lights are really bright and have an incredible range of colours too. With them positioned along the edge of the ceiling, or under a shelf, they create a light wash right down the wall. It's an amazing effect that feels incredibly expensive... yet this kit is amazing value!I highly recommend this product!

I’ve ordered two more sets as these are bright and have some great light scenes including a rainbow profile. The price makes them a bargain and I would recommend them with no hesitation.
