Oh how I didn't want to LOVE this because what I Don't Need is Another microcurrent device. From someone who started with the Suzanne Somers facemaster back in my twenties (by the way I do still use it on occasion as it's still the BEST and also uses a 9 volt battery) and having the Nuface that eventually stops working/charging (total waste of money)....this is pretty darn great.The fact that this is hand held and only has one probe (it must use the metal around the handheld base for the grounding portion I'm guessing) is so convenient. Also the fact that it uses a 9-volt battery is brilliant because with other microcurrent devices such as the new face it eventually just stops charging. With this all you have to do is buy another battery.I attached a quick before and after just about 3 minutes on the glabella. As you can see in one of the photos my forehead looks like I'm pushing it up or raising my eyebrows but I'm not. It's the microcurrent in this device that's doing that. I used it this time with some eye cream (which must have some type of sodium in it because it is conducting the electrocurrent just fine) and you can see in the after photo the lines seem to be smoothing out. I would imagine the full 10 minutes would get phenomenal results.I also have a little trick if you hold it on the side of your lip to where your lip just starts going up on its own with the microcurrent and you leave it there for a bit you can get a definite plumping effect.The thing about microcurrent is that it needs to be used daily as results are only temporary. But for several minutes to get a day's worth of lift without Botox sounds good to me! This was purchased on my own and is an honest review :)

Opened the package. Read the MANUAL, washed my face, put the battery in, put gel on my neck... Turned on the machine and NOTHING! Battery shows date of 09/14 good through 3/19. Battery has scratch on it so no idea if it was previously used. Strange that a Duracell would be dead without use. Concerned the whole thing may have been repackaged. For over $129.00, not acceptable and disappointing.UPDATE: Purchased an Energizer 9v battery and it would not fit into the battery chamber. However, I plugged the battery in to check the unit. I applied gel to my hand, turned the unit on, light blinked green and still no current to tip regardless of setting. Have to buy Duracell or the battery won't fit, which requires another trip to the store. I am so frustrated and want a full refund, also requiring a trip to UPS to have return label printed. A bad experience all the way around. Another thing of concern is the very fragile wire attachment from battery plug to the unit. Looks like it could easily break when changing batteries. I strongly suggest that you choose a different brand of skin toning device.

I ordered this because I like that you can adjust the strength ...but I found that it isn't necessary! This thing packs a punch! I definitely feels some zings and in different areas , other than where I'm actually placing the device.( ex. Placing on a spot on my cheek, made my scalp twitch😳). I'm usually the type that thinks " if I don't feel anything, it must not be working", but this almost scares me!! I own a Clariblend Mini( much more expensive) and every once in awhile I'll feel a very slight twitch, but nothing like I feel with this. I don't know if it's a good thing or not to really feel the microcurrent, but honestly I haven't seen a marked improvement yet. I'll give it some more time, making sure it's set at a lower level!

The package comes with very good instructions so it helps to make the use of this product super easy. It even came with instructions on how to move the device and what areas you can use it on.The very first time I used it I was a bit scared of the tiny shocks but it really does help to start at a very low setting an rub it around to see what areas of your face are more sensitive, then you can increase the dial to find a setting where you can feel the little electric currents but that do not hurt. I like that the 1-10 dial gives you smooth changes instead of having a low or high setting where one can be too low or too high.The vibration of the wand makes part of my face twitch sometimes so this makes me think that it is really working. The highest number I have been able to resist right now is #7 on the dial. I have only gone along my under eyes, brown bones and on my laugh lines. I am 36 years old so I am hoping that this device helps with the small wrinkles I am starting to develop under my eyes. I also have dark circles that I am hoping to lighten up. I will keep using this device for this reason. For now I have seen a small difference in my smile lines because they are a little less noticeable.
