Nice!
Getting down on all fours is bad enough; then try forcing your drip line hose, both sides, into a too tight coupling! Old, miserable school; not anymore! This repair or extension coupling is perfectly easy and efficient for your drip line repair, etc.Buy a dozen and keep them on hand; if you have drip line, you’ll have repairs! Thx Amazon for making these available to “oh no, on my knees again” people! Luvya!

Unlike pressure couplers these really work and don’t fail after a few days.
These work great for patching breaks in large drip irrigation hoses. They are just the right size to be able to cut the hose on both sides of a puncture or blowout and they hold the hose ends together even under high pressure.

Perfect for repairing damaged distribution lines.
You'll see some reviews saying that connections "blow apart". That's absurd. When these are properly installed, they grip the tubing very, very tightly.I suspect that the unfavorable reviews come from folks who just guessed how to install them. And I imagine that they guessed wrong. Some of the blame goes to the manufacturer. Raindrip doesn't print instructions on the label that comes with the coupler. You have two choices: - Use a moderate amount of logic and mechanical reasoning. - Go online and search for instructions. If you install these as the manufacturer intends, they'll grip your tubing so tight that it cannot possibly come apart. Absolutely. Cannot. Come. Apart.

Easiest way to connect drip tubing.
These are a very reliable way to connect 5/8" drip tubing. If it's hard to get the tubing started on the coupler, soap the end or use a bit of hand cleaner. Hand tightening is good enough.

Threaded drip hose connectors superior
Very excited to find this threaded drip hose connectors. There are other types of connectors but they are not very good. Seating a compression joint is difficult. They blow off easily and you only realize you have a leak when plants die. Now I find a threaded system. Set it uo and it holds. I will also duct tape on the joints so the joint stays threaded tight. This is more expensive. Quit buying the cheapest joints and for mildly more expensive joints you get something that works well.

Very nice coupler. I especially like the twist on security
Very nice coupler. I especially like the twist on security... makes it seem that the connection is water tight. Much better, in my opinion, compared to the other couplers that rely on pressure couplings. So far, I have replaced about 5 connections and they are water tight after 1 year
