Cute and fun to play with
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Its a cute and fun toy for kids.My 5 year old enjoys playing with this and also my husband enjoyed trying to use different movements around it to see how it responds and it was really fun to watch it rotate. The only thing that I am not really happy with it is the sensors are not very sensitive, but I think for this price its good and my kids like it.

Sturdy and reliable and lots of fun
I purchased this for a Christmas present for my grandson so we haven't used it a lot yet. But when it arrived, it was too tempting to leave it for 3 months without trying it out. My husband and I had great fun flying this drone. It is easy to handle and sturdy so that it performs without feeling flimsy. We played with it for about 25 minutes before the battery needed charging. It charged quickly and was ready to go again within 30 minutes. We had a great time, chasing it around our house. No problems with it hitting walls or the ceiling. I wasn't ready to put it back in the box but I needed to wrap it for Christmas so alas, that was the end of our trial with the drone. I'm sure our grandson will enjoy this toy and get plenty of use out of it because it's well built and easy to handle.

It is ok
Pros: it's very durable and you can fly it inside without tearing up the house. My 7 year old enjoys this product.Cons: the battery only lasts a couple minutes each charge. The controls work a little but the sensors don't consistently keep it from hitting the ceiling or walls.A couple weeks after receiving the item I received an offer of $30 from the company to make a review. So, that explains all the 5-star reviews.

~ Blades are encased for safety. Easy to Manipulate and Learn. Super LOTS of Fun. GREAT Gift! ~
We purchased this as a birthday gift for our soon-to-be 8-year-old grand son. He is going to absolutely LOVE this. My husband tried it to see how it worked and if it would be safe for him and easy enough to not be frustrating. The blades are inside, so they are not a danger. I like that it comes in a nice gift box WITH the instructions on the back o the box. Blue is his favorite color, so this is perfect. It is easy to maneuver and will be more so with practice. It has a charging cord included. Everything is here and ours came charged and ready to fly, although we will do a charge-up before we wrap it for his birthday. This is great for all ages over about six, as it states. Super-fun. This is going to be a HUGE hit!

Five year old loves it
So, my son says he wants an airplane that flies out of his hands...goes around the sky...and then lands back in his hands. This was the best I could come up with. It was close enough to what was in his mind to keep him happy come birthday time. The gesture control of the drone is a bit hard to work out (but it's impressive the toy can do so much without a remote control), but all my kid needs to be able to do is turn it on (button you hold on the bottom) and off, and make it take off (intermittently it will work to toss it in the air, but more consistently a double wave over the top of the drone will get it going) and ultimately catch it (flies about five feet in the air, so he can grab it and turn it upside down for the blades to stop spinning).I had to return one unit because one of the propellers stopped spinning after the first day of use, but the replacement has lasted longer. I'm not sure what I expect for $30, but perhaps a week of play before it's busted?I'd buy it again for my three year old should he ask for one down the road.

Perfect little gift for what it is
I waited a while to review, and while we haven't had heavy use of the drone, we've used it off and on for a few months. My little kid is very hard to impress, but he loves this drone. It's not a high-end remote-control toy and so it won't have the longevity or precision of a more complex (and expensive) drone. It does what it is supposed to, and it does it well. One charge will last a few minutes of dedicated play, which is enough for us. The noise is high-pitched, and can get grating after a few minutes--and it can be heard through in the next room through thin door--but isn't too bad. (I have very sensitive hearing and I can stand to play with it.)The reaction time of the sensors can take up to a second delay, so you have to be patient with it. It takes some practice to get the gestures right and it still doesn't always seem to listen, but it does often enough that we have fun with it. (Again, this is not a high-tech toy.) It also sometimes has a mind of its own as far as what it thinks are obstacles, so the auto-off function once it tilts too far is crucial. It hasn't damaged anything nor been damaged, and it even managed to go into my long hair once without too much trouble to detangle. For this type of toy, I would recommend it. If you want longer play or more precision, you won't get it from this range of toy and should be looking at the higher-end type of drone. My son just wanted a fun toy we can use around the house, and this was one of the most popular gifts he's received all last year.

EXTRA PARTS
Nice drone for my grandchildren who are 7 and 9. The drone came with extra parts...just in case. This is a Christmas gift so they haven't played with it yet. I took it out of the box, charged it and "hovered" it before boxing and wrapping it up. Had a difficult time finding the hole where the adapter to charge it was...fyi....it's in the center side of the drone. Sorry I cant post a picture of us adults playing with it. Didn't think about it at the time. My advice is to have kids play with it outdoors. They will enjoy it!7
