I received my knife sharpener yesterday and tried it out within the hour. I took out two knives that were extremely dull and following directions, after 5 pulls through the sharpener I was able to cut a piece of paper without it folding! I am SO pleased with it, I only wish I had ordered it long ago. I am a bit disappointed that it does not sharpen serrated blades, but this is not Boreen's fault,but mine as I did not readthe description thoroughly. Nonetheless, I am pleased with my purchase. It is good quality and I like the design and it is a good price. Also..I love the Prime Cut scissors. A good pair of scissors is one of my basic and necessary tools in the kitchen and pantry and these have already replaced my scissors which I have had for years. This company also seems to have customer satisfaction as a top priority. In view of my initial usage, quality of product, cost and concern for customer satisfaction, I would recommend this product without hesitation.

The sharpener is great-I will sharpen most of my knives now and will be able to do them all by myself..The scissors will take some getting used to...not that I need to know how to use a scissors but I will need practice using the extra features like the peeler and nut cracker. I am very pleased with this purchase...Added Next Day--WOW I had a whole collection of dull knives and scissors--and now I have a bunch of better than new knives and scissors. And I did it myself! I sharpened paring knives I couldn't use for anything except cutting through butter and old cheap scissors-even my expensive dressmaker shears---I am so impressed with this sharpener. I will tell friends and family about this-if I can do it anyone can.

I just received it this evening (5:30PM) and have used it on two knives and a pair of scissors. The knives sharpened up beautifully and quick. The scissors will need another go thru as they were duller than I thought. So far, so good on your product and thanx for following up so quickly. Continued success on your small family-run business in this tough environment. htw.

sharpener just o.k. the scissors are very dangerous why would you put 2 sharp objects at the bottom of a pair of scissors my wife cut her hand when she went to look at them so i immediately put heavy tape on the can opener and screwdriver I have plenty of can openers and screwdrivers so I have no need for them at the bottom of my scissors a multi tool hardly we put our scissors in a block not flat down please keep away from children if you have any terrible design the scissors do come apart only if you open them all the way out so you can use them separately not sure where they were made since there is no markings on them no instructions also why do I have to ask for them, they should be included. maybe the reason for the reduction of price.

Good product. I would recommend to pass knifes a couple more times than the recommended. They don't get super sharp as expected but they work good :)It arrived very fast. Vendor is super nice and follow up all the purchase. I would recommend the product between all those in range.

Recieved the sharpener yesterday. I used it first on a pair of shears that were fairly new but that had never been as sharp as I wanted. They are lefthanded so I had to turn the sharpener around first, but once I figured that out it did a very good job. I used it next on my knives. I haven't used them yet but I could tell that I will need to be careful when I do or risk sliced fingers. The glove and kitchen shears were a nice bonus.

My husband sharpened a few knives and scissors yesterday. The product was easy to use so I think even I can use it. I will need to let you know later about the sharpness because we haven't tested that yet.

Had a little trouble with the scissor sharpening, but once I learned "gently" pull the scissors instead of push them through, it worked fine. Good solid base that makes it easy to sharpen everything.
