Everything is well instructed except the finished paint surface could be more durable. There are a lot of paint scratches and tiny paint chips come off the small parts even before installation. Hopefully, everything holds up well since the speakers are almost 12’-0” above floor.

I'm wall mounting them and other than tight quarters it looks like a good product, but I do have a question. I have an extra part that I don't know where it's used. The part shows up in the install diagram for both wall and ceiling. Where is this thing used? Thanks in advance.

This a very good value and probably the best option for ceiling mounting Sonos 1's. There is an issue with the mounting bracket. The spacing in the mounting bracket for screwing the mount to the ceiling is just a bit too wide to fit within a standard 2"x4" on edge. I was always going to mount my speaker on the diagonal relative to the ceiling joist so it was not a problem for me. I just used more substantial decking screws and 2 were very sufficient to hold the mount in place. See photos. I could have drilled the mounting bracket slightly to narrow the holes to fit within a standard 2"x4", but the plate is fairly substantial and I did not to ruin a good drill bit drilling 2, and possible 4 new holes in each mount.

Works for my very high ceiling (14.5 FT) loft. BUT - I had to "MacGyver" this a bit with some support using fish line (check out pics)! That said, this is the only affordable solution I could find for mounting a Sonos One onto a ceiling (lots of stuff for walls, just not ceilings). I could not get myself to fork over the $150 for the only other solution I found by Flexon.Two main issues with this mount:(1) TILT DOESN'T LOCK WELL: the pieces used for the adjustable tilt do not interlock well, and are susceptible to wear down (E.g., if you tilt while the pieces are loosely coupled), which makes it hard for the speaker to stay locked in position (it won't fall, but it can tilt down) AND(2) SPEAKER HOLDERS COULD USE SOME PADDING there's a machine shop type, first-ironman-in-the-cave-type construction to that makes it feel like my very precious Sonos speakers are caged without some padding for movement (as another reviewer points out).The second point, I can live with, but the first was causing issues of the speaker tilting down after a couple of days, giving in to the heavy weight of the Sonos speaker. After a couple of times going up the ladder and readjusting, I finally thought of giving it some support that wouldn't be visible from the group. I used a fish line, and so far, working great!Overall, I wanted to find a way to take advantage of my high ceilings, mounting them on the ceiling versus the wall and, at a very reasonable price point, this does the job. I might adjust later since it might sound better lower to the ground, but I really like the look of the ceiling mount right now. Will update my review if the experience improves and worsens. A note to YIWAN: I would not mind paying another few bucks for a mount design that fixes the two issues above.When searching, I couldn't find many looking to mount their Sonos to a ceiling. Hope this helps someone out there!!

So, this mount is okay, but, i didn't pay attention that this mounts have a two bulky bottom and top parts which I don't like, so I did some modification to it, I bend one side of the beck plate and drill one hole for a support screw, know it looks much better!

Don’t believe everything you read on these reviews. People are clueless! These things are perfect and went up with ease. I had no issues. They hold the speakers perfectly and don’t move at all. The only thing I would change is screw placement. I used lag bolts so it was fine.

We bought these for our Sonos speakers. They fit great. Easy to install. We wanted to hang the speakers from the ceiling and plug them into a light outlet plug adapter so we have minimal ceiling damage when we move. Well just have to patch a couple holes. So these worked out great so we don't have wires running to an outlet.

Die Halterung kommt mit zwei verschiedenen Adaptern. Zum einen für die Wandmontage und zum anderen für die Deckenmontage.Das Material (alles Metall außer die Blende) macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck. Die einzelnen Teile lassen sich einfach zusammenbauen und passen perfekt.Ich habe die Halterung an der Decke befestigt um Sonos One SL Lautsprecher zu befestigen. Es lässt sich die Neigung und auch die Ausrichtung nach links und rechts alles einstellen. Nach dem festziehen wackelt nichts und hält sehr fest. Die Blende verdeckt die Bohrlöcher mit den Schrauben. Der Lautsprecher sitzt oben und unten sicher in einer Schale die ihn gegen wackeln, herausrutschen etc. sichert.Für mich eine sehr gute Wahl und eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Als ich schon von einigen Rezessionen gelesen habe, war ich schon im Zweifel die Halterung überhaupt zu bestellen. Allerdings wollte ich es trotzdem ausprobieren. Was soll ich sagen bzw. schreiben. Als die Ware, die extra aus den USA bestellt wurde ankam, war ich voller Vorfreude. Das legte sich aber schnell nach dem Öffnen und dem darauf folgenden Abgleich mit der Teileliste. Das Bodenteil, in dem der Lautsprecher eingefasst wird, war mit nur einer Mutter eingelassen. Sprich es hat die zweite Befestigungsmöglichkeit gefehlt (Bilder 1 und 2). Bei der Klemme, die unter anderem zur Befestigung der Verlängerung dient, wurden zwei gleich Teile geliefert (ohne Gewinde). Zur Befestigung dann vollkommen ungeeignet (Bild 3 und 4).Es fehlten zwei Schrauben zu Befestigung. Schlichtweg kathastrophal und unter normalen Umständen (wenn die Halterung nicht extra über den großen Teich gekommen wäre) hätte ich den Plunder genommen und wieder zurückgehen lassen. Da ich aber trotz der beschriebenen Umstände von der Halterung als solches überzeugt war und mir selber auch ein wenig helfen kann, habe ich improvisiert und es hinbekommen. Es tut mit jetzt leid, dies schreiben zu müssen aber mir kam es vor, dass dieses Paket nur 1B Ware war. Soweit ich weiß, gibt es selbst in den USA eine Qualitätskontrolle.Wer sich selber helfen kann und dieses in Kauf nimmt, greift zu aber vielleicht habe ich ja auch "bloß" das faule Ei im Nest gehabt. ;-)
