This light was used to replace a dated kitchen/dining room fixture. Got it one day and personally installed it the next with probably an hour or less of installation time. While it is a extremely competitively priced fixture, be aware that the company did take the time to produce a quality product. High praise on the finish and ease of adjusting the height. Situated 18" from the ceiling, in a 10 x 14 foot room, above a kitchen table, it does kick out some very bright light. If you're looking for full room coverage, however, I would recommend reviewing LED fixtures that have lamps pointing in up and down directions. And finally, with regard to the posted comments asking if it's dimmable...it is. I have a Lutron 3 pole dimmer that I installed years ago and it works just fine with this light. Great price, quality product, buy with confidence.

Love the design, puts out a nice light. I would love for this to be dimmable; I had asked the seller if it were dimmable and the response was "yes" with the triac type of switch, so I bought a Lutron wireless switch which is listed by the manufacturer as a triac dimmer. However, light still DOES NOT dim and flickers. I'm skeptical that this light can be dimmed. So, a BIG improvement would be for Mingze to manufacture with dimmable LEDs. Then it would get 5 stars from me.

My contractor hung this fixture over my island. It only took few minutes. I love it. It is sleek and gorgeous. It puts out a lot of light. Great for cooking. We put it on a dimmer and it works great. The bonus is that u can adjust the lights individually. It is not heavy and does not take up a lot of space or block your vision.

The light is unique, very modern, gives terrific lighting and with an LED compatible switch (Lutron dimmer for LED) can be dimmed to a very low level. I had an electrician install the fixture since the “box” was never properly centered in the ceiling and had to be moved. He commented how “neat” the fixture was, said he’s never seen one like it and thought the counterweighting to adjust the height was both useful and added character to the piece. He added that the fixture was heavy so he used a ceiling fan housing for the mounting to give it extra support. It took him about an hour to install the relocated ceiling fan box and hang the light. He said the mounting screws were very short and could have used a few more “exposed” threads. The fixture is perfect for a great room dining table or to hang over a center island in a kitchen. Definitely adds a modern touch. Great buy but unless you are handy or an electrician, it would be difficult to install and definitely would need two people (so gave 3 stars). Even having the electrician, we needed to help him holding the fixture while he attached to the mounting. So, add the cost of an electrician and possibly a $25 new dimmer switch (highly recommend) to the overall cost. I estimate total cost to be $300 total, $200 if you have the ceiling box in place, don’t need a new dimmer, but hire an electrician.

I love the hue this LED sets off. Most LED light you can look at them and know without a doubt, that is LED. The color is warm and inviting. Perfect for evening conversation at the dining table.Cons, a little funky to put up. Screws could be a bit longer for easier installation.Contrary to some reviews, you CANNOT use a dimmer switch as is out of the box. We just put in a regular light switch to replace the dimmer.Mind the picture. I have a household of 7.

It is small, but then I knew that. Hung it over a 42" round table in a 10 x 10 room and it looks dwarfed. The light brightness it just right. I don't particularly like the wires that it hangs from and have been trying to locate metal wire covers because it will give it a look that has a little more "heftiness". If you are trying to make a statement with this light, forget it. If you want something that won't interfere with your other decor, it will work well.

Love this light for our dining room! We get lots of compliments so stylish and great look and brightness! The only bad thing is the instructions are terrible they really tell you nothing! But luckily I now how to install lighting . But still not sure how to shorten the cable I tried looking online for remarks if any one has done that yet! But one of these days I guess I will just unscrew at the weight end and cut a few inches off I assume that is were you cut it at to shorten the cable .

I’d give no stars if I could. This light is TINY! The pictures are misleading because the island is far off in the background. Smh...it was maybe 2ft.

Attention all Canadian buyers, if you need to,return this Item, you must pay postage and it has to be sent back to Vegas which cost as much as the light. Not happy

The product description is false. The fixture is NOT dimmable and flickers. Afterwords the electrician obtained the correct information from the manufacturer SIBO. Due to Covid it took longer to get an electrician to install then return to identify the problem. The seller would not allow a return due to the extra few months of time taken. This is totally frustrating considering that the seller provided false information. I am out extra cost for the electricians return and I have a fixture that is not dimmable.
