My children burn through 2 to 3 pairs of headphones per year so did not want to pay silly money only to replace in approx 4 months. Got Sony as they are a great brand. My son (age 12 3/4) has tried them and absolutely loves them, he is a connoisseur of headphones and he was impressed with comfort and sound. They look a lot more expensive than they were, in fact the price made my day. One of best purchases from Amazon ever.They came next day, great packaging in perfect working order. Highly recommend.

Was faulty upon arrival. I had to return them and had £3.99 deducted for the return which I think is ridiculous given I received a faulty item to begin with!

These were surprisingly good headphones - and I know nothing about headphones. The sound is great and they are really comfortable to wear. My only complaint is that the lead is so short. I plugged them into a laptop on the floor, tried to stand and couldn't because the cable is just too short. And no I am not a giant. I wish it had been a bit longer but my fault perhaps for not checking first.

Fantastic for the price.These are very well made and sound good.Quality wise, I would place these between earbuds and 'decent' proper headphones.I would NOT suggest these for use in the gym, as they are too light. I would use either earbuds or a medium weight set of Bluetooth headphones.These headphones would be ideal for travel, as they weigh very little.Note that the closed backs do keep out a bit of external noise - but not as much as a 'chunky' set of headphones would.If you want to watch a YouTube video for an hour or so then these will be fine.Overall, good quality headphones at an amazing price - but lightweight so ideal for casual or travel use rather than heavy duty use.

Great value for money, very happy with these headphones. They look and feel great, the volume is excellent, they cut out a lot of outside noise but don't leak sound too much (to disturb others).The sound quality is very good for headphones that cost under around £30/40 - they are bass heavy and lack the range and clarity of more expensive headphones - but deliver a warm, thick, softly bright (non tinny) sound.

Good Points:+ well packaged+ leather ear pads are very comfortable+ sturdy plastic brace+ strong adjusters so it stays in 1 position+ adjusters have a good bit to extend+ audio quality is very good+ easy to fold ear pads which makes it more compact to place in a bag etc+ nice gloss black finish on earpads+ wiring has a good thickness and quality material which has never tangled+ son uses these for basic gaming and he loves theseBad points- adjusters is not very sturdy in terms of when adjusting to head, it's too weak so it may adjust a bit extra when not needed.

They're okay, but the passive speaker aspect makes them pretty quiet. They could not be described as comfortable; on my head they feel like they dig in at the front so after an hour or so of wear they start to make my head ache (not a headache, but between the skin and the bone, just in front of my ears. Obviously, it's the price which is the basis on which you'd buy these.

I was a little dubious about these as i've used the Sony V150's for so long and are still the best headphones ever made, in terms of quality against value for money, but mine are looking a little worse for wear after 10 years of use.Straight to the point, if you have an Xbox One/ PS4 or any other portable device these are perfect for the job and sound amazing for the price (i paid £12).Unfortunately the cable is now pretty thin and flimsy compared to the V150's but in a way this is more suitable to plugging in to a game controller as it doesn't get in the way a much but i imagine any slight tug might break 'em, i also love the way they fold away for protection / storage.Basically a perfect set of headphones - A must buy !
