Major Pharmaceuticals Mapap Tablets, 1000 Count

Great product! I am so surprised that I have to leave a review. I feel that this is actually better than Tylenol. Not only that, but we are so used to using what is marketed to us, I got in the habit of buying capsules and what the newest product is. These are not coated, which means they work fast and they are very effective. The coating is only needed if you have ulcers or medical conditions that require it. I'm not a doctor, but I can tell you that it's something to think about. This jar is HUGE! The cost is very small and they are a great product. I wish I would have known about this product before now. Imagine the money to be saved just on this product alone! I hope this helps you make a good decision.

I bought this product because a prior reviewer stated his bottle said they were made in the US. My bottle said no such thing and if you know anything about pharmaceuticals, they never specify the origin of manufacture on the bottle. All it told me was the origin was Major Pharmaceuticals in Michigan. So I looked up their website and found that while they do manufacture most of their products, they also outsource. So I called them. They were polite and asked for the NDC number on the bottle (my bottle is identical to the one pictured). It turns out these are manufactured in the United States. For me, that is important and earned them 5 stars. The price is also amazing.

You pop a pill, and the pain goes away. I don't know any more I can say about an acetaminophen pill --- 1000 should last a pretty long time. The pill or a couple of them are placed in the mouth and washed down with a glass of liquid. They are not coated so don't let them linger in your mouth before washing them down. On the plus side, they should desintagrate quickly & enter your blood stream where it begins to do its magic. These are less pricy per pill than any of the others I could find.

I have purchased this item twice before. In 2017 it cost $10. In 2018, it cost $13. Now, in 2019 it cost $19 (no matter the seller - there are 2 offered). I understand that prices go up, but $6 in one year? I purchase this product for my elderly father to supplement his pain medication that has acetaminophen in it, so he requires a smaller dose (325 mg). Most is in 500 or 650 mg strength. This has always been a great value, but it is a shame the price continues to rise.

My local pharmacy used to sell 1000 counts for 12-15 dollars, however they have stopped and is only selling 100 counts for $7 which is expensive, until I found out this product was on amazon. The product is great, I've been using it after my flu and cold and it had lessen my illness tremendously. Also I always felt like mapap is better than tylenol even though I think the ingredient is the same. Maybe it is psychological.

Having a giant bottle of acetaminophen is helpful since I take it several times a day. These are a little powdery as they have no coating on them , but I swallow them easily and haven't noticed any bad taste. I use this bottle to fill a small bottle that goes wherever I need it. I have actually ordered these a couple of times now. The expiration date is good til 09/2018 and I got them 11/2016!

This is definitely the best deal for consumer Tylenol that I've seen. I wasn't looking to buy a large amount but when I saw that I could buy 1000 for ten bucks I figured I'd never need Tylenol ever again, and it seems like I'm right. I take NAC with this so it doesn't hurt my liver (it's what they use for acetaminophen poisoning at the hospital, you can Google it and/or also buy it on Amazon).

This is a really good deal for the price and how many you get! They taste like Tylenol idk what to say otherwise lol. Work decent as well!
