I bought this for my new OLED switch and plan to sell my original Switch with its original dock. My wife has the extended battery Switch model. So we have all 3 TV-capable models in our house temporarily. This dock works great and outputs full 1080p with the 2 non-OLED Switches. However, when I dock my OLED Switch in it, it will only output 480p. I then switch back to either of the older models and it goes back to 1080p. I tried explicitly setting the OLED to 1080p output in the settings, but it won’t switch. It just stays on Automatic and outputs only 1080p. Works great with the OLED in tabletop (charge-only) mode except it does block about a 1 cm high area of the bigger screen. I’m still keeping it to sell with the older Switch instead of selling it with the official dock since this one works great with the older models.

When I was looking for a second dock for my Switch, I really wanted to find one that had all the necessary components. Most of the docks didn't include a power cable, requiring you to make an additional $18ish purchase. This one specifically stated that you wouldn't have that problem, as it would include everything you needed.While some of the parts, especially the stand, are a little flimsy, the dock works fine and even manages to remain mostly stable with its anti-slip pads. I am currently using it to connect to my computer monitor so I can swap between the display port (PC) and HDMI (Switch) in order to use the same display for each device. I still use the original Switch dock for my TV so I don't have to move the dock around depending on where I want to play.Whether you are looking for a second dock or a dock that doesn't have a risk of damaging your screen, this product should suit your needs just fine!

Even when the Switch is sleeping or powered off, the blue LED on the front is always on. I covered it with duct tape. It's functional, though, and the two USB 2.0 ports work great for controllers and the HDMI output is functional.

We’ve been using this dock for a few weeks now and it’s great. Works well and I like that it isn’t huge.
