Fits amazingly. Exact size. Maybe even with a tiny bit of extra room for nice socks. These are really comfortable and stylish, they’re currently my fave trainers.

I have always loved Converses but thought the soles were too flimsy for serious walking. So I was really excited when the Run Star Hike range appeared and I wasn't disappointed! I decided to celebrate my 62nd birthday by walking 62 miles in 24 hours and my Run Star Hike trainers were amazing - not a single blister or any other discomfort. They look edgy and feel so comfortable. Would recommend them to anyone of any age!

I almost returned these.They arrived quickly, but upon first trying on I didn’t like them much. Plus, there was a white stain on the inside of left boot and tge under-soles were dirty, which on a brand new product shouldn’t be there! I let the pair sit in the box for few days, contemplating a return/exchange. Then I tried them again, and surprise surprise- loved them! Here are some cons & pros:Cons:1) if you’re a delicate little rosebud and your legs don’t have much muscle on them, you’ll find these boots extremely heavy. (A positive to this heavy sole is that it can help you tone & strengthen leg muscles if you walk in them regularly!)2) the white stain & dirty under-soles would have made anyone else return these. Yours may arrive spotless clean!3) they’re a bit time-consuming to put on due to the long strings and the need to tighten & tie them. This is my personal pet-peeve as initially I was looking for a slip-on style of boot. Just bear that in mind, it will test your patience.4) they can be a bit too slippery in the wet conditionsPros:1) Despite the fact that these feel heavy on your feet, strangely enough they are extremely comfortable. I attribute this to the way the sole is shaped right at the front and at the bottom- slightly shaved off, if you know what I mean.2) The leather-like material will keep your feet dry during rain, and you can walk through some light puddles (because you’re still young at heart ;))3) Can be used as a self-defence object due to the impact of the heavy sole. Aim at the weak spot with full force, and then runnnnn. Ok, this last one is half a joke. Use it only in self-defence!I rarely leave reviews, but I like these so much that I couldn’t not leave one. I would give these 4 stars IF they arrived without the white stain and no dirty under-soles: it looked like someone walked around the block in them before shipping them out to me! Unprofessional, but due to covid I didn’t want to go through the lengthy exchange process. 5 stars IF they were slip-on, but that’s me asking for too much, LOL!
