Perfect study buddy
So yeah, this doesn't show every detail, or every bone, but at this price it's a steal!I aced my anatomy exam thanks to Ned the Head. Now he hangs out while I study the rest of the human body.It was great being able to actually show my family (most) of the bizarre number of bones in the skull. The sphenoid bone is my favorite. My son had a blast taking Ned apart and putting him back together. So - what's missing? For my entry-level anatomy class...GlabellaLacrimal bones are not delineated (the lacrimal groove is shown)Palatine bones not delineated (palatine foramina are shown)Cribiform foraminaForamen spinosumHypoglossal canals

Surprisingly nice!
I am sculpting a skull and wanted a 3D model to go off. This little guy is great. It comes apart and pops back together really nicely with little magnets. Perfect for what I need. The little info card it comes with it very informative too.

Too small
The skull is accurate enough but the parts are too small and difficult to put back together. Good price for your money.

Such a cute and affordable study tool!
I am in gross anatomy and used this as a reference on my previous lab exam. It isn’t 100% accurate, (mostly noting missing details like foremen), but it is such a great and portable resource. When I took it apart, I marked structures with a marker on each bone for reference!I am a tactile learning, this was much better than studying from an atlas alone! Much easier than going into cadaver lab to video the practice skulls! And a plus… it doubles as a cute desk decoration!!

Helpful but not completely accurate
Anatomically, the skull isn't 100% accurate as it is missing a few details. I do like the different colors but some parts could have been colored the same. It was somewhat helpful for my exam, but due to the missing details I wasn't able to really visualize all of the bone markings. As far as quality, I don't think it's worth $30- mine would not stay together. If I picked it up it immediately fell apart. This doesn't seem to be a common complaint from looking through the reviews so maybe I got a bad one but I will be returning. Overall, I think it could be helpful for an exam because it is cheaper in comparison to other models. However, just be weary of minor anatomical inaccuracies.
