Best 1216-B Whisk, 12 Inch, Silver Steel

Absolutely love it. This is just the right size and shape with nice heavy gauge whips that don't break. Most of all, the handle is sealed with silicon so that it doesn't collect any bacteria in the dishwasher. I've tried many other brands and they collect dirty dishwater and rust in the handle where you can't see until it drops into your food. This keeps it extremely sanitary. I bought multiple of each size from this brand and have been pleased with all of them.

I recently purchased the "Best Manufacturers 12-Inch Balloon Whip with Metal Handle." I needed a new whip and my prior experience with Best whips has been great. I have 2 other whips from Best, both of which I got in 1987 when I was in culinary school. I have used them both A LOT since then - I am a pastry chef and always cooking or baking something. After 23 years of constant use, dishwasher cleaning, high heat cooking, heavy batter whipping, etc., they are both still in like new condition. So when I wanted another balloon whip, I couldn't bring myself to buy a $3 whip at the local restaurant supply. It had to be another Best Whip.When this one arrived, I inspected it for build quality to see if they have cut any corners since 20+ years ago. I am happy to report that, except for a slightly brushed finish on the handle (makes for better grip), it looks to be constructed identically to the ones from way back then. Holding it side by side with the old ones, you could not tell which one was new and which were old.This is a quality product line. I wholeheartedly recommend this product and the others from this manufacturer and would buy their products again and again (except that they last forever, so there's no need).Buy a Best Whip, you will be happy you did, and you will never have to replace it under regular use.

Have not had a chance to use this yet but the quality of the build is evident. This is well crafted, has a very solid feel to it and was very reasonably priced. Love being able to both support American workers and receive an incredibly well built product at a fair price. Worth shopping around for thins like this, I stumbled on it and am glad I did. Don’t hesitate, this is built to last...

I bought this whisk hoping the wires would be well sealed off at the base, and they are, making it very easy to clean and keep clean. It's more hefty than the plastic ones I was used to, but you used to it, and mixes up batter very well and quickly.

Whisk is substantial and gets the job done. Best of all it's made in the USA!

I have been looking for a whisk for a while. I am so happy I found this one which is made in USA. I can tell the quality is a lot better than others I found everywhere else. I will definitely buy it from them again if I need different size or type of whisk.
