Oliver Who Would Not Sleep Hardcover – September 1, 2007

I saw the title on this book and laughed and just had to buy it. I have an Oliver who will not sleep :)The story and illustrations are fun and my kids like it. They ask lots of questions about the pictures, and there's quite a bit to talk about in most of them.He's not afraid of anything in the dark (the monsters, etc. in the pages look like big stuffed animals and they're smiling), but just doesn't like going to sleep, so he plays with his toys and flies to Mars in his pretend rocket, but then looks back home with a telescope and wants to go back home. He flies back and climbs into bed with his stuffed animals and falls asleep. It's a cute bedtime story.

The story is adorable and is actually a repurchase for us. However, the book came with both ripped pages and a severely damaged spine. It will not hold up for long...

My 5-year-old granddaughter was enchanted by this book, so I bought it for all three grandkids. It's a cute story about a boy who has a hard time settling down at bedtime (just like my granddaughter).

This has been one of all 4 of my kids favorites. I love to read it to them. Great bedtime story.

I looked long and hard to find something with the name Oliver on it for the baby's first gift. I came upon this book and it has become a keepsake, loved by the baby - now 3, his parents and grandparents.

We love this book, and read it at least once a day to our 26 month old daughter. In fact, I am ordering the author's other book today just based on how much I love this book! I would highly recommend it!

Nice book, but too funny for my son's bedtime as has him running around the room!

Our son is called Oliver who very much loves it, but aside the name it's still a great story. There are a few more titles in this series and all loveable. Boosting little imaginations, highly recommended.

if you have a little boy called Oliver you should really invest in this series of lovely books...there well written and lovely pictures :)

This book was bought for my son when he was one years old, he's now five; we still read it most nights as his last bedtime story, despite knowing it off by heart. Illustrations are wonderful and it feels like 'Oliver' is part of our family.
