I have never had another ride cymbal that I have loved so much
This is the second time I've bought this cymbal. My first one was stolen at a venue. I have never had another ride cymbal that I have loved so much. Perfect ride and crash sounds, but the bell is the real deal on this! Not only does it sound like perfection, it looks amazing, too.

K Custom is great
Hi people, i'm from Brazil and bought the Zildjian K Custom Medium Ride 20'' from the Japan Spirit store here in Amazon.com. The cymbal is just fantastic, i mean, the sound is full of variations and sub-sounds.. The price is great either. I'm fully satisfied. Cymbal recommended and the store either..

Versatile - works with just about any type of music
If I had to recommend a single ride cymbal that would work with just about any kind of music - loud to soft - this one would be on my short list. One thing I love is you can play this cymbal whisper quiet for jazz piano trio work to loud and cutting for rock. I will caution that for rock applications where drummers want a ping ride sound this cymbal does have over- and under-tones. However, those blend into the mix beautifully in my opinion. The basic fundamental is in the medium low pitch range if played near the edge, but the pitch increases as you play closer to the bell. In fact, the bell is one of the characteristics that makes this cymbal so versatile. It's large and can cut through and project when you lay into it.Another reason I would recommend this cymbal for its versatility is it works well as a crash/ride. The crashes are not the staccato, fast open and short sustain kind. It's full of sustain and has a slow decay. Also, if you do a shank kit it has a trashy, gong-like quality. It all depends on your personal touch and technique. If you play different types of music and want to invest in a cymbal that works well with almost all genres, this is one that I recommend.

The best k ride, IMHO.
My favorite ride, 2nd even to my 22” Constantinople. Been playing the same one for over 20 years. With the bead-tip of SD2 Bolero sticks, it’s perfect, from now to bell. Super distinct, dry but with color, so sweet.

Great feeling
I wont bore you with technical facts I just want you to know it sound just great, if you want a jazzy warm funky sound this is your choice, just be careful cause some how this cymbal is a little bit complicated talking about precision and founding the exact sound with your stick definition.

A versatile but relatively louder K Ride, in my opinion.
This K Custom Ride 20"(2658g) is no doubt, a very versatile ride with different surface finished on the top/bottom surfaces. Whilst this ride has good stick definition, it turned out to be a tad too loud for my preference and the wash could get tough to control at faster playing. I would recommend this cymbal to a rock/pop drummer who needs the cymbal to cut through, but it would not be enough for metal.I ended up returning this ride and moved onto a regular K 20" ride (2444g), which had darker overtones and more controlled spread/wash.The seller packaged the cymbal enveloped the cymbal in bubble wrap, which I believe is not enough for trans-national shipping, a layer of cardboard would add to the protection.
