Need box cutter and plyers to liberate pills
The "blister unit" packaging is the most extraordinary imprisonment of tiny pills that I've ever encountered. The plastic is thick, the backing is foil over stiff cardboard, and the adhesive bonding the two layers might be gorilla glue. Warning: you'll need tools to extract these caplets. Mere scissors (as suggested on the packaging) won't cut it.

Quite possibly the worst packaging available
If you have trouble with your grip or hand strength then you will not want to purchase these. These have one of the most difficult blister packs I've ever encountered in a OTC drug. I will never purchase these again.

Frustrating
Why can loperamide only be obtained in blister packs? When I need this I really really need it. I don't have time to try to deal with feeling tablets from the sharp, impossible to open blister packs! The medicine works fine, once you can get to it!

Hard to open
Seriously, these are way too hard for an elder to open. Each individual pill must be cut out with scissors. Then, half the time you end up breaking the pill while trying to get out. I Will not buy again!

Difficult packaging
Works well, but packaging is not good... difficult to open individual pill without scissors

Berkley Jensen Anti-Diarrheal Medicine Loperamide Hydrochloride Tablets
While I like this medication for what it is, since the packaging has changed, I would like to know how one is supposed to get the tiny pills out of those impossible blister packs. You literally have to cut each one out with scissors, which is ridiculous for patients who need them for medical reasons. And there are restrictions on it now, resulting in price hikes, which makes it out of reach for many. Put the tabs back in bottles, and bring the cost back in line.

A must for rectal cancer patients
Price is attractive, good to buy in larger quantities. Some days you need none, somedays a lot. Only hassle is the bullet proof blister packs which are common to all over the counter Loperamide.

Loperamide
For those people who have had abdominal surgery and are left with a stoma using ostomy supplies this is essential. Unfortunately, people have been abusing the "pure" form of Loperamide tablets so I had to purchase these "Imodium" equivalents.
