Disney Princess Beauty and the Beast: As Old As Time (Twisted Tales Hardback)

Only just getting into reading it and finding it difficult to put down

☽Twisted-Tale Review☾.Beauty and The Beast is one of my favorite fairytales ever. The way they made Belle fall in love with a Beast that only thinks of himself is the typical "I can change him" type of story we all love. ☃.So, Liz Braswell wrote some twisted fairytales and I just read Beauty and The Beast one. ☄ This is a powerful read. Not because you'll never be able to look at the movie the same way (believe me) but because I don't think I'd ever twist the story this way. ✎.At first, we have the same introduction "Onde Upon a Time..." which made me super happy. Then, you realize that Belle's mother is an enchantress. ♧ The thing is she's not just an enchantress, but the enchantress that cursed Beast. ♡ It happens like in the original, Maurice goes to the castle and Beast arrests him, and Belle goes to look for him and trades her life for hers✮ After that, nothing happens the same. Another thing that's different here is the fae creatures and magic elements. ❊.Many people don't like this book, but for me it was a 5-star read. I absolutely loved it, it's impeccable! The whole atmosphere of this book is sooo good! (little creepy too). I recommend you to read it!

Beauty and the Beast is my favourite classic fairy tale and Belle is my favourite Disney Princess! I took an interest in this series due to the tales being twisted and seeing how it was all changed from a different point of view. I chose this one first as I love Beauty and the Beast and I really enjoyed it. There were many scenes and elements from the original story and I could clearly see the new scenes from the twisted tales and I enjoyed reading the whole story. I really didn't want to put it down really! The ending left me wondering what will happen to the Beast and what else is there to tell? It was clearly left on a cliffhanger, but overall, I loved this story and Belle and the Beast clearly work together as well as fall in love just like the story! Loved this book and I really want to read more from this Twisted series!

Got this Book for the misses and she hasn't stop she reads it every time.

Great alternative for beauty & beast fans

I bought this book for myself, as a huge Beauty and The Beast fan.The whole premise of 'what if?' is just perfect and this entire collection is such a good idea for those of us who look at these tales a little differently now that we're older!Posing the question, 'what if it had been Belle's mother who cursed the beast?' this is an enjoyable read, and of course continues to offer that much loved line, 'Once upon a time...'I now plan to get all the books in this collection, as a huge treat for myself and my bookshelves!

This book is amazing. I loved every word of it. A new take on a favourite story that does not disappoint. However it does say reading age 10-13 but it can be a bit dark in some places so I wouldn’t give it to a 10 year old to read. That’s just my opinion. But there is talk of torture and dead bodies and asylums so just be wary of that!

Bought this as a present and recipient loved it ! Ideal for Disney fans !

I mean! I already love Disney and THIS?! This is my very new favorite ❤❤❤❤❤❤so excited to read the twisted tale!!!

Premetto che La Bella e la Bestia é il mio classico Disney preferito ma devo ammettere che questa versione alternativa non mi è dispiaciuta. Anzi. Certo ci sono aspetti della trama che non mi hanno entusiasmato. Ciononostante consiglio a tutti gli appassionati di leggerlo!
