Decent kit to add to emergency go-bag.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to add to our emergency bags. I am not going to detail every item but just the ones that stand out in one way or another.Case: Compact, mini backpack design. Everything is packaged separately and organized very well. Case has different pockets and loops to keep everything in its place. Seems durable and well-made. The flag and red cross symbol both are Velcroed on and can be removed.Poncho: Very thin plastic, kind of like covering yourself with a human-size disposable grocery bag.Flashlight: Compact, light, but a little cheap-feeling.Compass: Decent. Works. Built in clip doesn't feel as flimsy as the other plain carebiner/clip does.Whistle: Nice and light, easily attached and carried on a key chain.Tourniquet: Not flimsy at all, comes with instructions. The tourniquet itself is better than anything you would get in a basic first aid kit. That is the one item that sets this apart from the other emergency kits of this price range that I looked at on Amazon.Knife: Easy to open, a little dangerous to close. On the bottom part of the handle, directly beneath the knife blade is a small serrated piece of metal which must be moved to the left in order to close the knife. (See video.)Pocket tools: Very tiny, which, if you want to carry on a keychain or in a pocket or purse, might be a good thing. Fits easily in the palm of my smallish hands. However not sure how efficient or durable it is. Seems like a convenient tool to have on hand all the same. Comes in its own little black case.First Aid kit: Basic. I bought a full first aid kit separately and will combine the two. It DOES have burn cream, stuff for insect bites and disinfecting wipes. The tweezers are metal (albeit rather cheap) and not plastic like a lot of the kits out there.Summary: Certainly a good kit to have on hand, or to pack in a go-bag for evacuation or emergencies. The quality is decent, but not outstanding. The items are not for long-time or every day use but certainly durable enough for an emergency.I am going to give this 5 stars because it is exactly as advertised, nothing is missing or broken, and it's what I expected. If you want a top quality kit, or are looking for something to use regularly on camping or hiking trips you likely would be better off paying more money and getting something that's designed for constant use. If, like me, you simply want to be prepared for any circumstance and hope to never have to use it, then this is a good deal and pretty comprehensive.

Satisfied
I personally bought this for a first aid kit for camping but I don't mind the additional survival tools because they might come in handy if my other main camping tools break for some reason. It's very well put together and organized. It's just a nice cheap and simple pack to use for first aid. I don't know how good the first aid tools will work but seems like it would do the job until I get additional help incase of a emergency. The only thing that I could complain about is the flashlight wont work properly.

Good first prepped kit.
I bought this kit for my little brother when he started driving as his first prepper kit. The only thing I added was quick clot gauze.

Amazing little pack
This little pack is great. I carry it on me for work. I work security for a warehouse. I had to use this pack yesterday for a gentleman who broke his leg and was bleeding. Luckily I had everything I needed to help this man until EMS arrived. Highly recommend!!!

Good value small bag
I think as a supplemental first aid kit or small car BOB this is a great value. Most of the items are made of metal or solid feeling plastic. There are lots of items that might be $3-5 on their own if you could find them... i.e. the tactical pen, knife, multitool. If I could give it 4.5 stars I would... took off 1 star because without unpacking every single item... I could not find a list. That would be especially helpful with the first aid part of the kit. Otherwise - if you are looking for a solid sub $30 bit of kit, this is it. Flashlight uses single AA batt as answered in questions.

Everyone Needs This - Great KIT! Just Buy Now
How it packs in so much value is crazy to me. Two or three of the items purchased separately on Amazon would cost more than this pack with 270+ items and it comes with a sweet molle pack. I could see this being well over $100 worth of items if pieced together yourself. How time consuming, and expensive. Great kit, just buy. Buy one for your car, your home, your kids, your camping and hiking bag. Rather be prepared and not need this ever, than using the money you're 'saving' on a fast food dinner out. Products may not be top of the line name-brand survival gear, but all will work as intended in a pinch, which is what this is for.
