If you search for a child bike seat and like this design you will see it’s priced all over the place from $200 Shotgun, to $50, and $10. I’m sure they all came from the same Chinese factory.I will only review the design. It works great. I got a rear child bike seat but it was too clunky and with my child on it made the bike too unwieldy. This design is exactly what I need. The material is surprising good for the price. Everything securely attached to my bike frame. What I like most is the seat doesn’t interfere with my pedaling as I would imagine. It’s light and small I don’t even need to take it off when riding by myself. The child handlebar is really an extender with grips. I put a phone mount on it.If there’s any negative I could nitpick and say the seat attachment could be longer so the seat could be back a little more or have more space for the child feet.

It’s a total knock off of a Shotgun brand seat. If those weren’t so dang expensive, I’d Want to support them. This one didn’t come with instructions, but look up the Shotgun brand. The process is the same. My 3 year old daughter and I have done ~ 40 miles on this. She loves it. I bought the handlebars too. It’s easier to talk with her than for a rear seat. It’s also a lot less bulky and she doesn’t interfere much with my normal riding position.

Do not waste your money on the overpriced shotgun seat, this product is exactly the same for less than half the price. Yes, you have to wait a little while for it to come straight from China but it is so worth saving money. My husband and four year old are crushing it on the trails with the seat and I wish we would have found it or bought it earlier. It will definitely get lots of years of use in our house with two boys who love to ride on the mountain bike with their dad.

They say this is a "universal fit" for the seat. But if you have a seat tube that's thicker than 1/2 an inch (ie, any bike that's been made in the last decade) its too small. It's built to fit a tiny tubed bike, and on the six different bikes I tried to set it up with, it fit with none. Had to send it back and a little upset with the marketing terminology.

I’ve never seen the actual shot gun seat but this one here works great fits on my 2021 giant trance and my daughter loved it the smile on her face was worth the buy!! Would buy it again if I have to

My daughter loves this and it has even gotten her interested in riding her own balance bike. I have a cruiser-style bike with a slanted top bar. I have the seat on tight, but it still slides down a little towards me when we ride. It's not a huge deal; my knees just graze her a little. I just push her back up toward the front. I love riding this way with her and it encourages me to ride my bike more often too.

I cut slots in a scrap piece of silicone 4ply hose and put it under the seat to make channels for the brake and shift cable to go. Seat is wide, small and soft

I originally posted that this would NOT fit wider carbon bikes but I was mistaken. One of the issues with this bike seat is that it has very little instructions that go with it. I am good with mechanical things and working with my hands but I did not immediately figure this one out, but it is such a knock off of the Shotgun one that those instructions work.These are advertised as "quick release" but I would not consider them quick. It does have a cantilever release on it but the foot holds are tightened down on threaded rod.Normally I would get the more expensive one than a knock-off brand but $150 for the Shotgun one is crazy.

A good bike seat for toddlers. Easy to install and the components are made of reasonably good quality considering the price. My toddler absolutely loves it and enjoys going on bike rides sitting on it. Overall a good product and great value for money.
